I have been playing PWI for about a year now and thought of a great idea that would make PWI a lot better to play.

Cat shops are where people buy things to use while playing on PWI and things they need to do quests, etc. but when looking for a certain item it can take minutes to hours to find the exact cat shop that has the item you are looking for.

So, my proposal is for PWI to make a search engine in areas where there are cat shops where you can type in for example "pig iron" and right away it will sort through the cat shops for you and then only show the shops that have that item you are looking for.

This would allow people to do more quests and not waste their time looking for things in every single shop especially in West District of Archo where there are tons of shops to go through.

Just an idea...leave comments if you'd like :)

the players has created something like that already
    b:chuckle
    we split archosaur into sections
    xD
pig iron would be found next to the blacksmith.

also there be the auction house which can be filtered to find "pig iron"
but that would probably be a nice feature.

good idea I almost never use cat shops because it takes to long and west arch lags to much.

If you want that - go to the auction house.
Cat Shops are pretty much 'Who knows'

TBH, when I am looking for something and I'm skimming across the 9 million catshops set up in Arch, I instantly filter thru them in my MIND the same way I'd do anywhere else ... ie: Catshop Selling DQ Items ... I check that catshop if that is what I want.
A Catshop that advertises "You Want This" I skip. Why? Because I don't want to waste my time clicking on it only to find they are selling low level mats or some objects I simply don't need.

To make Catshops searchable would perhaps be 'nice' but on the other hand, I think that the people that set them up with a caption that no one would be interested in makes it their own fault if they do not sell things. Why give positive to these people?

It's been suggested before that there should be a specific Cat Shop Zone for people, but it's not happened, and I doubt it ever will be.

that would be a good idea especaly in places that dont have a auction house like broken bridge village ect. you'll see a catshop there and sometimes 2 or 3 and not all of them just have pets/eggs or mounts.

If you want the convenience of a filtered search (sort of), then use the Auction House. The difference between the Auction and the Catshop is that a Catshop can only be seen by the people that physically come by it, is more likely to be viewed if the title draws in a potential buyer, and it's FREE to the seller. In contrast, an item listed in the Auction is accessible to everyone on the server, and the Auction has filters so buyers can focus on what they want to buy and do comparison shopping to find the lowest price, but it has a cost to the seller.

Why would PWI implement a search filter for Catshops and still make it free to use? If that were the case it would compete with the Auction and reduce the effectiveness of the coin sink, unless they instittued the same fee to sellers to put up a Catshop as exists for the Auction. I think Catshop sellers would be pretty much against such a fee, so I can't imagine PWI implementing filters for Catshops.
