Banned?

This is a QQ thread for everyone that is wondering. I just got banned on another account. No GM talked to me, no reason was given, nothing was said. I got an e-mail saying to reply and they'll send back and that was earlier today. Do they just randomly ban people for fun now? b:surrender

    PWE doesn't discuss bans on the forums.

    AFAIK though, when you're banned it's not like you're whispered by a GM beforehand. You get the reason in an email. Not speaking from experience though, so I can't be sure.

    It can take a few days for a reply, sometimes more.

    But actually, they can ban anyone for any or no reason, but of course that's diabolical business practice unless they want to drive away players. It kinda reminds me TheShazzBot (an ex-PWI GM with attitude) said something like "it's not a right, it's a privilege".

    They didn't even put a reason. They just banned me. Other people have said a GM talked with them about what they were doing before the ban was made. I've followed all the rules, used no third-party software, and I've been playing for years without any problem. Now they just ban people for no reason. What a lovely game.

    It depends on the situation, obviously. Like I said in my first post, bans aren't discussed on the forums because it's not the public's business to know about people that are banned. We can't help you much on here. Best you can do is talk to the GM that did it and see why, through ticketing or emails. Just wait for a reply.
