My main is a 61 BM and I thoroughly will rely on weapons switching from fist to axe, since fists is not really good for mobs but we dodge like monkeys. b:pleased
I just want an implementation of a shortcut keys, like in the skills, that I may able to switch from fist to axe then do a heavenly flame-fissure-etc.. then get back to fist in one numerical press/click. It will be a lot more convinient compared to clicking my axe then choosing a skill then clicking it back to fists.. Ya kna what I meean??b:angry

Like when you press R then get a shortcut of skills you can do in order, I want weapon switching to be a part of it

Drag the icon of the weapon to your shortcut bar.

Et voila, you made yourself a shortcut that equips this weapon (same works for the skils in the R menu, and the skills in E menu)

It already is. Drag the weapon icon to a slot on the shortcut bar. b:sweat

You want a macro.. that's capable of adding items....

Would kill a lot of the fun and challenge in playing a multipath BM (or any character with multiple sets of equips that get swapped around for whatever purpose) if this was added, IMO, but whatever floats your boat.

It wouldn't work even if you could add it to a macro. When you press the key for a weapon on your hotkey and you don't have that weapon equipped, it equips the weapon. If you already have that weapon equipped, it removes the weapon leaving you bare-handed.

So the first time you pressed the macro key, it would equip the weapon and do the attacks in the macro. The second time you pressed it, it would unequip the weapon and you would either do the attacks in the macro bare-handed, or the attacks would fail if they depended on the weapon.

That would be true, however it would only happen if you didn't set up your macro for swapping weapons, which would defeat the purpose of having this.

Using OP's situation as an example, if you have, say, fists equipped and use the macro. It would switch your fists to axes, then cast heavens flame, then switch you back to fists. If your macros either didn't include the proper weapon to swap to before casting the skill, which would be plain silly if the skill you wanted to cast was weapon-reliant, or if you already had the appropriate weapon for the skill, in which case you wouldn't bother using he macro, then what you described would happen.

Basically, as long as the macro involved switching between two different weapons then you'd be fine as long as the initial weapon wasn't already equipped.
