Just a thought, but what about AvengerZ pro tactic, which they used on Pendulum in the first PvP TW of the server, that is to have your scout chase the attacking factions scout around like an idiot? Fiya was freaking out cause he wouldn't stop chasing her, was epic.

This guide should be on KD forums. I hear KDs scout and base buffers are tired of doing the same thing for months now and when Michael tried to replace them for one TW things went bad, so they got put back on their scout/ base buffer duty. This was 2-3 weeks ago though so I'm not sure if they found competent replacements yet.

-- When Defending a land, you are on the opposite side of the map than when you are Attacking a Land. SO that means Lanes A and C are backwards! How to be Pro Fo Sho With a Cata Yo by Taboo.

Aight, ask and you shall recieve. Ive gotten many questions about being a catapuller and when ill make a guide, so....Here it is. I will attempt, to the best of my ability, to tell you everything that goes through my head as well as what i do when pulling a cata. With out further ado, i bring to you, BAM guide time!

GEAR/STAT DISTRIBUTION:

*listed best to worst from left to right.

Weapon: Pan Gu's Giant Axe, Any weapon with high hp THAT DOES NOT HAVE A ZERK MOD
Helm: Event Helmet, HH90 Helmet, fb69 Helmet
Chest: HH99, HH90
Pants: HH99, HH90
Boots: HH99, HH90
Wrists: HH90, HH99
Cape: Event cape with Hp, Event Cape with m def, Tauren Chieften, HH90
Rings: m attack OHT rings with high vit, any ring that gives alot of vit/m def
Belt: M def Warsong belt, 4th map m def belt, 3rd map m def belt, demon slaughter.
Neck: M def cube neck, HH90 swindlers, Equin Talisman

Everything should be sharded for Hp. Vit stones are optimal, but if thats not reasonable use the highest grade citrines you can get. All Ornaments need to be M def, we are barbs if you are really afraid of dying to a barb/bm in TW please gtfo. Refine as much as possible, Always worry about refining your cape last, as it is concideres LA, thus having less benefit that your other HA pieces. also, Ornaments are important as the biggest threat to us in TW is mages.

Str: Lowest possible value while still being able to wear your highest str required pieces (typically 272)
Vit: As High as possible with all gear requirements met
Mag: 5
Dex: I like having 60 dex.

BASIC KNOWLEDGE:

Target an unused catapult and use your cata scroll, watch the colored rectangle on your screen to manage your catapult. Keep running until the box turns red, then stop and cast poison feng (or 50 chi skill if its CD is up) to build chi and continue to run until its red again. You never want to be anywhere in which you may be getting attacked without atleast 2 sparks available, i like to have 3 first. Listen to whoever is leading, and move quickly with the other catas. Make sure you are conscious of your buffs as well as the clerics/cata in your squad. If your cata partner gets purged and you arent being focused, stand up and buff, and expect him to do the same for you. If you are being attacked but dont see any BMs around to stun you, turtle and rebuff and get back into tiger form.

***POSITIONING***:
(very, very important)

When Running down outer paths ALWAYS stay on the outer edge of the lane to avoid any patrols that may slack and not come all the way over to look for you. You dont need to go too far, but definatley do not stay on the inner side.

Never Stand somewhere which would make your cata shoot multiple targets, also try to stay away from other catas in order to avoid everyone getting hit by the same AoE.

It is essential that when you get into the base everything you do is perfect. Position is everything, keep your cata where its ability can be maximized.

TECHNIQUE/IDEAS:

Catapulling is very reaction based, so ill try my best to tell you what i look for/do in situations. A couple things to have in mind when reading this: I assume you have the genie skills i mention, if not get them. I assume you have atleast 3 sparks. I assume you have the same pots i do.

When at a Tower or the HQ and you are getting attacked it is very important you dont just smash whatever life saving skill your finger can get to first, but rather plan in advance.

IF....

You are taking very little damage and your charm can keep up, dont use anything other than maybe an hp pot and stay alert.

You are getting bombed onby many high dps classes, use Turtle followed by beatial rage to regain chi.

You Get dragoned, Triple spark to remove it as well as 3 second immunity. Follow up triple spark with Genie skill: Solid Shield( this is fairly weak, but will allow you to live for the 7 seconds before charm tick)

You see a High lvl mage or any DD threat Triple spark, use an iron guard pot or tranq orb

You are clericless and see a veno coming to purge you, use a Tranq orb

You are about to die, use anything you have....(often i double spark + Tree of Protection.)

Make sure you send him an extra 5$ in the mail. I wouldnt want him to run out of candy next war and have to figure out a new strategy. I bet his mom starts getting tired of having to buy snack packs all the time, too.

You should have seen the Fairytail war 2 weeks back. We lit up the sky with tons of fireworks the whole war. It worked so well, we were thinking about applying the tactic to Kylin wars.
