Last boss for TB quest chain

can this quest be done in squad or do I half to solo, because I can't kill that boss I have already tried and died after 2 hits >:[ b:cry.

    Why would you think you'll have to solo it... Other than a couple of special quests in PW, all kills are shared in squad.

    Because I had to solo the tideborn traitor male boss and someone told me that I had to do the last boss solo :(.

    You actually don't have to solo the tideborn traitor..

    You just have to deal the highest % of damage to the boss so you get credit for the kill. Same thing as oracles, so you can just have your squad keep you alive while you drop it down to 50% (or less, depending on squad level and how well you DD) and then they can all jump in after that.

    You actually don't have to even do the most amount of damage anymore.
    When the TB quest chain first came out, you needed to do at least half of the damage, so, most.
    But now, you can do it in squad mode, as if it were a normal boss you need help with.

    I really just want a strait up answer can it be done in squad or not because I can't take 50% of that bosses health down, I don't think, I would be dead in 2 hits :(.

    When I had to do the male TB traitor male I had a friend solo it and I didn't get the drop.

    When i did it you had to do over 50% of the dmg, than others could help you DD.

    If that still is the case, you really only need to wait like 10 lvls and than have a cleric heal you for the boss.

    Not like you have to do the quest nownownow!! Most things can wait a bit in this game. You will have just as much use for the platinum charm at 70+ as you would have now.

    You CAN do the lochmur-fish-boss-thingy in a squad

    I did mine in a squad. I also helped my friend out in a squad.

    There may have been a time when this was not the case, however that time is not now b:chuckle

    You are level 60, you don't have to worry about it til lvl 90.

    I had a squad help me with it, I couldn't have done it alone. However; the barb that helped was only lvl 87 at the time I believe. A moderate squad can help. Doesn't even have to be full. Good Luck.

    We're talking about the Lochmur Guardian Beast? I put that off when I got it because I had already tried to kill it with a wizzy in squad and the quest didn't count, then I figured I had to solo it and didn't feel like using a bunch of pots/charm over it.

    Tonight I wanted to try to kill it before maintenance because I was bored, so I soloed it with a veno out of squad amping it. Now you're all saying it can be completed in squad now?

    Oh well, I only burned 50k charm and a few pots, if I get a platinum charm out of it I won't complain. =P

    last week i did it twice for friend and he couldnt get the kill...kinda seems like they made it back to solo

    Boo I hope not, that thing is too hard for most people to be made into a solo boss. Tideborn traitor was hard enough (the second one, not the girl that they decided stupidly to give the exact same name). My barb took ages to get the fish to 50% before I could get some help DDing... but a week and a half ago or so I was able to help faction members in a squad. I was happy about that. Would be really annoying if they changed it back.

    dude that boss was fun as hell. but also hard as hell. we had 10 ppl to kill it.
