How do I purchase Genie skills?

I desperately need some help with this please. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to purchase Genie skills.

Please don't just link me to a guide or FAQ...I've got a bunch of those bookmarked and have spent quite a lot of time reading them over, and I still don't understand a lot of it. Most of it is too vague for a beginner, some have conflicting information, they tell you what's required but not how to actually do something, etc. For example, I kept seeing that I need to feed my Genie Chi stones, but there was no info on how exactly to do that. After much time and aggravation I finally figured out that you have to left-click and drag the stone onto the Genie while it's equipped. It's all very frustrating... :(

Anyway, I've seen info that said you have to purchase Genie skills with coin and something else (can't remember what it was exactly), and another one that said you purchase them with Stamina, which is gained by feeding them Chi stones. So, since it didn't look like the Watcher of the Earth will take coins for skills, I tried feeding my Genie Chi stones. That didn't work...all the skills are still greyed out. And yes, I did drag my Genie to the top left-hand box in the skills window.

Then after looking at the Primary Skills list, I see that they all have requisite points for Fire, Earth, Water, etc. How exactly do I get these points? I've been allocating my Genie's points to STR, DEX, etc., but don't see anything at all for these element points. I am so totally confused. Please, please...someone help.

On a related note, if there's anyone out there who has the know-how, time, and ability to create a "Genies for Dummies" guide and explain it all (step-by-step and preferably with screenshots) in a way that total beginners would understand, I'm sure there are a lot of people (myself included) who would be extremely grateful.

    You purchase Genie skills from a Watcher of Earth at any of the main cities. Each skill requires spirit points to be learned (the SP gets deducted). Genie skills, as normal character skills, require the genie to be a certain lvl and have the correct affinities. You can choose your affinities by having the genie equipped, right clicking it's icon and clicking 'Affinity' next to the 'Trade State' button. You can check which affinities are required for skills at the Watcher of Earth or by clicking 'Skill Inquiry' on the 'Affinities' menu.

    Until those 20 minutes are up - To teach is skills you need to give the genie affinity points. If you right click the genie you will see at the bottom a button for affinities. There you will see a wheel shaped stat point bar for the 5 elements that you have seen as needed for the skills. Down in the bottom right hand corner you will see how many affinity points you have to spend. Click on any of the element icons in the wheel and confirm to add a point. You get these points as the genie levels.

    Once you have your points set if you unequip your genie (put it in your bag) and go to the Watcher of Earth in any of the home cities or Arch you can teach it skills. Talk to the NPC and select the learn genie skill option. Drag and drop the genie into the box and it will show a list of skills that you can take. The ones that are available (based on genie level and where you put those affinity or element points) will be highlighted or brighter than the others. if you click the icon for the skill it should ask if you want to take the skill. It will cost coin and YOUR spirit points to teach.

    Hi.

    You can lear skills for youre genie at the "watcher of earth" where you got the genie. (The NPC will have a beem of light on him)


    Talk to that NPC, and choose "Learn genie skill"
    Here you can learn youre genie skills.
    It costs spirit (your car's spirit) to learn the skill's.


    You mention the Fire/Earth/Water ect points for learning skills.
    This is youre genie's afinity points.
    When you have equiped youre genie, right click the genie (Its standar below your Character-face, in the top right in your screen). Click the "Afinity button".
    Here you can apply afinitypoints to the elements you want.. You get more afinity-points when you lvl youre Genie.

    The genies points for STR, DEX, VIT and MAG is used for the skills, mostly.
    Check the skills you want, for what is needed to make the skill better.
    F.eks to increase the duration of the "movementspeed-skill", it uses DEX-points.. VIT and Magic will increase youre genies max energy and faster regeneration of the energy.
