Thats when the blessings that give 30% attack or 30 attack level(not sure) were around. Quite a few ppl got to 100k+ crits.
Amour dmg can be surpassed by a rank8 mage without taking any credit from it, which is a dream damage to nearly 99% of the Wizzards (considering it was done on a TW and on level 1xx barb with good gear etc) but even for rank8 mages is extremely hard to reach that dmg on a TW.

HL has like 5 good players, sorry to say. Everyone there seems to think gear > Anything. Good gear makes good players gods, good gear makes bad players live for one extra shot; period.

Well those are all on 9x-ish and 10x people. Would you like me to try to get my max crit on a non-geared BM with Phys Marrow with all debuffs and triple spark water dragon while having a +30 att level charm like Nurfed? then brag

Nurfed is still a ****ty wiz if he didn't have the gear that he has he would be just like any other 1 shot wiz. You should still try to get to 20k though ^^ shouldn't be hard if your a good wiz. I hit 5k or 6k on HA people my lvl.b:pleased

It all comes how you consider some1 a good player and in this case every1 has different standards. But I agree with you that alot of ppl in HL think good gear is everything and not only HL, but theres alot of ppl with good or decent gear that are very good players. Some ppl would call me a bad player because It has been about 2 months or something in level 90 and I still dont have full TT90 gear, but others would call me a good player cause I play my wizzard very well.

Can't get past 60 I wonder what the level 85 barb is that I have then? Fail Bm, ya that Bm was pretty fail first characters are always kinda fail if you don't know what your doing.Ya don't reply because I am always right and what other people say is well just wrong.
