Knockback?

If you frequent the forums, you'll remember that I once whined about the way knockback works and blah blah blah. Well here's another question for you:
What is the chance of the monster being knocked back?
Lately, whenever I use wingspan or knockback arrow I have the chance to simply not knock them back. Now, I know that it doesn't knock them back when you miss, but this is when I hit them. I see the damage pop up on the screen, and the mob refuses to move. Now, is this just me being crazy, or has anybody noticed this? It's been more than one time where I've expected to keep the mob at bay, but I end up having to use Second Wind or chug a potion.

I usually have no problem with knockback on my lvl72 archer. Knockback only fails if I lag or my screen freeze for a few seconds. Skill -> lag -> mob in my face -_-0

I have had no problems with knockback besides the occasional mob going turbo speed after being knockedback for some reason.
Though at this point(lvl 65)I rarely use any skill other then frost arrow.0 -
Never have that problem on my wizzy (phoenix), exept when the mob is frozen. A frozen mob won't move, not even if he's knocked back9 out of 10 voices in my head say I'm not crazy... the 10th is singing the music of tetris0

if you experience lag, numbers should still pop up on the mob after you knock them back because archers usually keep auto-attacking after you tell them to use a skill. sometimes they simply get knocked back then slide back in your face without having taken additional hits. i've had this happen rarely on the archer.
i know lag when i see it, the mob may move toward me and i not do anything, the mob may even appear to move past me. however when i snap out of it, there is a stack of red numbers above the mob and it has taken the hits.Elena Costel: I wash my hands of this affair.

Yes, I'm still a stubborn holdout in favor of the old game. Haters gonna hate. ;]

I can't imagine this combo being efficient. I have a few seconds when the mob is in the sweet spot (within my range and outside his). The only time it is efficient to use that time to get a stun off is if the alternative is letting the mob get inside either his own ranged attack radius or, worse, inside my half-damage for ranged attack radius. If I use the time in the sweet spot to maximum damage (normal attacks), I'm not getting stun off until the mob is either hitting me during stun's relatively slow wind-up or I'm cutting damage on both the stun shot and the knockback shot because the mob is too close. If I'm leading off with the stun shot, then knockback is pushing the mob too far away. Then, rather than getting the advantage of making him cross the sweet spot twice, I'm running to him."?"
