Level 39 cultivation quest

Alright, to clarify, I'm talking about the quest that I think is received at level 39 and lets you (if completed) learn spells that you learn at level 49. If this is incorrect then please inform me.

Okay, since my understanding is that you have to be level 49 to get those skills, then either people kill Gouf, aerox chief and the other bosses for this quest before or at level 49, or they just don't get their level 49 skills until after they're a high enough level to kill these bosses. If these are not the only two options again, please correct me.

My question is, what level do squads normally kill the bosses for this quest at, and where do you ask people to help you with this? Or do people always just get some really high leveled character to do it for them?

    This day and age, most people go begging high level friends/guildies - but with a decent barb/cleric of the same level as the quest in your squad you can fairly easily get gouf and khewey done as soon as you get the quest.

    Best bet if you lack a party is to just go hang out around those bosses and wait for people to show up and ask if you can squad with them, or to buy a couple of teles and use WC to try and find a squad.

    I did gouf somewhere around level 45. Just 1 BM and 2 wizard healing, but then again we all got high level cleric buff.

    thanks for the help - I wish there was a better database detailing what level people usually do bosses at, but then again, with a decent squad most bosses can be done the level you get them. Like the tideborn traitor - the quest says you should get help from a level 80 friend (which is ridiculous) but me and an assassin did it just fine.
