Grinding for coins. How do you do it?

    He speaks the truth. people on my sever have 4 soc TT99 gear..all salvent stones...refined to +12..weapons coming out their ****'s...god...

    Grind 96 spiders.. 400k an hour with double drops. I have a nix, I dont use any MP pots and basically no repair costs. WINNER.

Please give use sins that area for some reason ppl think we can't aoe good enuff for FC (if your one of these ppl watch this video >.<) let sins have these places to lvl plz and go FC. I hate having to fight for this spot over BM's kthxbai!

    Um... I can do what you just did 2 , nearly 3 times faster without the use of any genie skills since I don't feel like wasting stamina on something I can already do fast enough . This being the case I also take another spot on nightscream while the one you are in spawn's the mobs again .


    And FC won't bring ya moneys . For a non-CSer that's not rushing to lvl I'd rather gamma or aoe grind .

    I posted this on another thread, before I read this one. I see all high levels talking about making good money, but what about lower levels.....

    On my level 40 Psychic I didnt power level, so my skills are all up to date and I got a good soulsphere. I then grind the spiders around Hidden Orchid, being level 33/35 which is within the 10level gap, so still good drops. Plus they are also close together. Result, no running around, wasting time getting to the mobs, and 2 shot every spider, 1 shotting the weak ones - or when I crit, and great drops. I believe I make in the vicinity of 300k/hr during the 2x, plus I have stored 250+ purified oil for later sale.

    Okay guys here is what I do.

    1. Find a material that constantly sells for a good price. Take a low level material if you're a low level, medium level material if you're a higher one etc. This because the drop rate gets lower and lower when your level difference with the mob gets bigger. And always low level materials are dropped by low level monsters etc.

    2. Now check pwi database for the item. You should be able to see what monsters drop it, and what their drop rate for that item is.

    3. Now simply pick the monster that is close to your level, and has a good chance of dropping the item. If the monsters are too low level, pick a higher level material. If the monsters are too high level, pick a lower level material.

    4. Finding the monsters can be a problem, but if they are close to your level, you'll easily find them in the current/available quests.

    An example: I was around level 39, and wanted money for a level 41 weapon called ''Xeno's Sledgehammer''. So I found out that concentrated glue sells for 6k+, and is dropped by Densgoth Tuskmoors and Adalwolf Sharpshooters with a high rate. So then I went and killed those, for like one, one and a half levels, and I had something like a million coins by then. So when I achieved level 41, I was able to buy the weapon. :D

    PS. You can also be creative. Try picking a monster that drops a material with a high rate, but also a DQ item with a high rate.

    Other tips.

    Start another toon but keep it low level depending what you want to farm.

    I have a level 24ish logged at mines to farm rough fur in need and a lvl 31 logged either south of silver pool for hay from antellopes or at hidden orchid for purify oil.

    How do you not level a char ? Your high level supplies mirages, low level makes genies, feeds genie exp, die on purpose (Time to go sell/auction stuff, dying is faster then flying or walking to town), anything really, lol
    Proud supporter of the new expansion. Sure it has it's share of bugs, like any games. But for a pure farmer/grinder, that's a whole lot of new mobs to go beat up b:chuckle

    Why kill something close to your level? Drop rate is the highest, but it takes longer to kill.

    Kill something a few levels lower than you, that only takes 1-2 shots to kill, and still gives decent drop rates. My Archer still kill Mothrans for DQ at level 90, and the drop rate is still high enough to make it worth it. Whereas, if I go and kill something level 90, it takes more arrows, more time, and the drop rate is close enough that it doesn't make up for the time it takes to kill the mobs.

    Grinding is no use leave grinding aside mayde do grind when you are on Broke status,
    at you're lvl start farming in 1K Streams or somewere snow villige stack materials at X10.
    X10=10k put them in AH for triple the coins or higher and you can get a lot of coins.
    I did that when I was young,I meant lvl 60+
    Grinding can become good coin when it's X2 but only then

    Why would you grind? FCC for levels, Merchant, HH or CS for money. lol.
