how do you repair items?

I've looked around and around through all the NPCs, and I haven't seen any option that lets you repair, so I might be missing something but i don't know what

    go to any npc.(tailor, blacksmith, craftsman, etc)

    click goods.

    bottom right corner of window, click "repair all" (it will repair everything you are wearing). click "repair" and click on individual pieces if do not want to do everything all at once or have a piece in inventory.
