I was thinking just now, while being chased by a mini-boss "What if I could call in help right now?" So I have a couple different ideas!
1: Have a power like the town portal, but instead you can send a request to another player to warp to your location. It would also have or share a one hour cool down. This could be very useful in many ways and is very simple! (Called player cannot be in combat) : D
2: Instead of inviting any player, have a faction wide distress call, one player is allowed to accept, they warp in and can assist you. Also would have a 30min-1hour time limit, or possibly timer set by faction? (Called Player cannot be in combat)
3: This would be the most restricted version, it would be like either of the two above, but only work in your squad. This would prevent allot of possible misuse of the power. (May call a player in combat)

I like the idea of the faction and squad one. But the best possible one would be for the friend list.
Or maybe a combination of the three. Where it sends out a call for help through the friend list, squad (if in one), and faction. Only one player is allowed to answer the call and they have to be a higher lvl then you (by 10+ lvls). The call will last as long as normal "friend request"/"sqaud request"/etc. and if not answered you would have to wait for the 1 hr cooldown before trying again.
But those are my thoughts.0 -
I have been wondering what other advantage to marriage there is, other than the obvious,and it seems that it doesn't do much to add to the functionality of the game.
To add to the game, I think if couples could summon each other it would give the marriage option an extra layer of functionality, that the game really needs. I played another game in which this was possible and it worked out very well. It would give more incentives for marrige, which is a mode that drives revenue, and allow some help when needed. Also, if when the two people are near each other there is a passive skill that allows them to have more crits, that would be good too. That was also incorporated into a soulmate system.

Interesting thoughts on the matter, though as I do not intend to get married...
It would be better if it were buyable in the Botique, like telecoustics, charms, ect.

Only problem I really see with this idea would be jokers. People who would rush to accept these summons without any intention to help or being physically incapable of helping with the problem you're having. That is figuring it would be in faction where there may be a couple people who you don't particularly get along with or don't know very well.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I see the point your making Shivalia, but it could be a directed thing to one player,
or could be required that they are same lvl or higher, There are ways around problems like this!

But seriously,other than what I said,it is a nice idea.I hate it when I have to go half the map to kill a couple of monsters/bosses0 -
could be very handy if i need help or im gonna help a friend or a faction mate but i should have the choice if someone wnts to tele me to them so i can help if i just get teled & have no choice i dont wnt tht in the gameCollector of pet eggs, armor, weapons, fashion, and mountsb:chuckle0
