Is there any actual mature adults that play this game? Everyone i meet is a teen and im 34... not exactly my style to be running around badmouthing people for fun b:surrender i surrender!!! lol!!

    As an eighteen year old, I have come across many kinds of players.

    I have come across players who I assumed to be adults, and it turned out they were younger than me.

    I have come across adults who were more immature than the five year old children I've worked with in the past.

    I've come across adults who generally sort of act their age.

    And I've come across teenagers who need a damned good slap in the face.

    There's a huge variety of people on here, and while the majority of players may be of a younger nature this game is by no means only played by a teenage population.

    well no offence to the teens here but i ts my second day in PW and everyone i meet is either rude or horney and they are 15 or so.... just would like someone thats abit more mature than that to hang with

    Firstly, being a teenager doesn't make somebody immature. It's already been said but I'll say it again: mature company can come in the forum of younger players.

    You've just said it's only your SECOND day playing this game. You've not even met 5% of the population on the server in that time. Seriously, you ask for mature players, but you aren't being mature enough yourself to even give the game a chance. In two days, you aren't going to run into all the mature players just like that.

    Play a little longer, mingle, socialise. You will find the more mature players. Unless, of course, you insist that a teenager is a rude ignoramus with no brain cells. Then you'll just **** a lot of people off, and the mature people you want to talk to will ignore you for stereotyping them like that.

    um my second day yes.... not my first time in PW... i havnt been here in over a year... i know what kinds of players are here... thats why i was asking where all the mature people are at? maybe i worded my original post wrong... i often do that and people get all pissed off... that wasnt my intentions...

    Seriously, do you know how annoying it is when people go up to you and say, "Your an idiot, quit the game now teen ____" or when people finally get to know me and say "Oh, I didn't realize you could be mature"

    I have to admit there are some idiots out there in our age group but that doesn't mean everybody. A friend of mine for instance is... Technically mature but immature.. Like, shes always dating 2-3 people at a time and always has a boyfriend. But another friend of mine on the other hand has a 4.0gpa and landed a scholarship program already.

    If you, the OP, are going to stereotype teenagers, this game isn't meant for you. Or any other game should I say for that matter. Teenagers are getting smarter, trust me. I know since I'm one of them b:chuckle

    Frankly, the answer to that depends completely on you. If you happen to be a mature, friendly, and overall decent player, then I'm certain at least one of the more mature players will. If not, on the other hand, then the answer should be rather obvious.

    Most of Feral's population is over 18... we just have a seemingly immature sense of humor. We're just mature enough not to make a big deal out of it.

    But we're on DW.

    Honestly this game is a lot more mature than other MMOs I've played... though I've mostly surrounded myself with mature folks.

    Don't stop at WC, starter towns or Archo west district. Just join the "right" faction for you. It most likely exists, or you can start your own.

    Bushido in Dreamweaver is completely adult faction with plenty mature people with children, husbands, wives, the whole deal. We do have some teens and a couple 20+'s, but it seems like those are on the minority. A lot of people here are at least closing to their 30's and the max age goes a lot higher than that.

    The problem is, the low levels are usually this way, and the WCers, which is what you'll run across at lower levels. Just recently I was flying through Etherblade and got multiple inappropriate whispers from bluenames, but I never get that in any high level areas.

    The best way to find the people is to look for a friendly faction possibly recruiting in WC, and join. Keep in mind that you're free to faction-hop as well until you find one that suits you. Best of luck.

    There are a lot of mature adults. Unfortunately mature people don't stick out the same way jerks do. Who are you going to notice, a few dozen people minding their own business grinding away, or one complete moron who swears, makes fun of people and does other such jerkery? Trust me there are mature intelligent adults on there, they just don't just shout "Hey everyone, I'm a mature intelligent adult just sitting minding my own business not being a jerk."

    44 here, will be 45 in a few months, and I know of some players here that are well into their 60s. I don't think you're going to meet many of the games older players until you join some of the guilds. Most the people you see making the loudest noise in the game are youngsters.

    My faction (PRIMEVAL) is pretty much older adults and some of us are younger/young. We all station ourselves at the south banker in Archosaur, they're extremely nice and helpful and only ask you be the same b:victory

    i knew a 12 year old on here who's more mature than me...and im an adult b:laugh but yeah, ive also known some 30 somthings like in a faction or just random and alot of them QQ about being old. i wouldnt call that mature b:surrender

    your language alone in this post would exclude you from at least three decent guilds i know. until your language meets your behaviour standards, you are out of luck.

    oh, and btw, dont try to use having ADD as an excuse for language and behaviour. both my 17 year old son and i have it, and he is more adult in behaviour than 95 percent of the players ingame, and 500 percent more so than players who post here

    There are at least 2 "Adults Only" factions that I know of on Sanctuary; Oldies and Pantheons. I am sure there are others. My experience is that the members in both of the 2 mentioned above are mature and helpful while also being fun to be around. Again, I am sure there are others.

    Give it time, ask around and watch chat. You'll find what you look for, good or bad. If you only find bad, it's because that is what you are looking for.

    i agree with this, ive been in about 5-6 guilds over the time ive played this game (see join date) and only recently have i actually found a guild that i really like and that i can relate myself to.

    you have to go through word of mouth and trial and error to find what your looking for

    that's my opinion anyway =p
