Damage

Hiya,

I made an Archer (lvl 9 now) and I read the Sticky about attribute points.
It says you have to put the points on Str and Dex and I do that, but I hit really less.
Does anyone know why?

    You're 9. Damage will come with levels, till 40 you're really gimp compared to other classes.

    my damage sucked until like lvl 45-50, I almost gave up after 30... but I didn't and I'm glad. my archer is 65 now and I kill everything in a few shots, monsters don't even have a chance to reach me and this is fun. it's still shocking to see how my damage increased thanks to better bows and skills (bow mastery, blazing arrow). many archers give up because it's hard at lower lvls, but you won't have problems after a while. I don't even need potions anymore (only in emergencies, like, if I lag and can't move). I stopped lvling my BM, my archer is my main now.

    yeah, his right, i'm 43 and i hit like 800 - 1000+

    Str = Gear
    Dex = Damage

    And remember, archers are a machine-gun like class, we deal our damage fast, not hard. You may have lower numbers when you hit, but you have to remember you hit faster than a lot of classes, so don't let small numbers get you down.
