What Class to choose?

I'm new to Perfect World, and currently downloading the game.

After reading the races, classes I came to the conclusion that I want to become, either a Warrior (TANK) or a Archer.

Well, now I need your opinions to help me decide between those two classes

What are some great advantages of a warrior and a archer? What are their weakness.

Or are you 100% convinced that cleric/anything else is the best class?

Do your self a Huge favour, dont make a tank(barbarian)!

Unless you got lots of time to gain lvl and i do mean LOT's of time!

or unless you plan on buying loads of XP scrolls from Boutique.

Right now, the clerics and archers does loads of dmg and that means you lvl faster, cause on lvl 38 and up... you will do lots of grinding.

Some archers do like 9K+ dmg in a crit and with that kind of dmg b:pleased you would grind faster than with 600 to 800 crits with a tank.

Im not sure how high the cleric crits, but im sure its lots more than 3k

oh and dont forget as archer or cleric none will KS from you

1: Pure build clerics does A lot of dmg and heals Try look in the cleric section for what build u want.

2. there is only 1 Real tank in this game and thats Babarians. Blademasters are DD / can be offtank but cant hold agro on the high end of dmg.

4. Ranger?? we got none, there are Archers. Blademasters are good to solo but i bet they wont get a 9K crit b:laugh
None will KS them cause they cant out dmg them

So Blade masters hit less as Archers, however BM have a higher defence as Archers.

If you have to choose between BM and Archer which one would you choose?

DD = Dmg-dealers also known as dps.

BM higher def, thats because of the buff. Archer can have it if you choose the build for it.

But if you want High dmg, you need to use the 1str 4 dex build each time you lvl.(Archers)

I would pick Archer cause they get skill to move mobs back if they get to close and you get awesome flight and dont forget the Huge dmg.

But im not sure if BM can solo better than Archer.

Also you, mentioned 1 str 4 dex, what i've seen before..

But, doesn't str makes the damage? why more dex as str?
dex is for the faster attack rate right? if not correct me.

Archer get hit less in close up = less repair bill's and Trust me.. it can cost A lot.

Archer only heals if the mob gets close up or does range dmg.

you need the str for the light armor and no, Dex = how much dmg Archer does.

If you pick Archer to play, when you get the quest where u have to pick a charm pick the Health charm and not the Mana charm!

Health charm is kind of your personal cleric

It heals you(to full health) when ever your health gets below 50% and Mana charm renew the mana pool when it gets lower than 75%

And in your case(Archer if so) the mana wont do u any good if your dead!

Thats why you use mana potions oh and if you had a mana charm it would eat it self up just when you try to fly rofl...

imo that seems impossible as it would make me impossible to die.

Players cannot craft charms, you get it from quest reward and you buy them in boutique. Just equip the charm and it auto use :P

a Charm has charges in it, this means after it has healed you for xxxxx amount it disappear & you have to get a new one.

It also has a recharge time, so no your not invinsible lol if the charm isnt full recharged when your health is low :O it wont heal you.

And yes its 100% heals!

Use the bows from quest or drops or craft your own :P most people use bows and the crossbow from their first FB quest reward & FB quest you get at 19 29 39 49 ect... and what FB stands for .. not many knows and you get it from Elder.

Lost City server is PvP, the rest are PvE and nope, i didnt say Lost was the best.

You cant get killed by anyone until level 30 in the lost server. and even though it is PVE it still has PK. Go to the lost server. It has everything the PVE servers have and more

Well It kinda depends.
Blade masters use alot of strength and alot of fighting so they have strong crits but some of there skills can be a little slow or a lot of mana so give me like 1 point for magic ever once in a level




Archers: I dont play an archer much but i mad a new one lately but i have a higher lv she lv 43 so i know a bit about this game well archer of course use bows.crossbows,slingshots but there pretty stong too! but they do have slower ataxics and there still fun they are also kinda easy to lv up!

I'm sorry, but I can't help being mean about this now. Did you really expect that after two years, this person would still be downloading Perfect World? Or that they still hadn't decided on which class to go with?
