Hey im a New player and im downloading the game right now and i just wanted to know whats a recommended first class for a new player

    whats the difference between Psychics and wizards?

    Not much difference, but i find a Pychic easier to play in te beginning then a wizard. Their skills are a (in the beginning) little better, so it's easier to level.

    Sins are a great class too .. dont get me wrong Barbs are great too but they are depended on a little to much and they are expensive.. most magic classes are .. except not so much venos where they dont really fight lol their pet does... other then that all other classes are great

    fo sho i think out of all my chars Sin is the best... Reading thro the forum they seem to be the most annoying class due to the fact u dont no if they are there :P they come out of no where and kill u..

    My alt Psychic is 35, not taken long at all to get there compared to my main Veno. Leveling Assassin now which is also fairly easy to level.

    Its true sin dont take long to lvl if u know how to do it... Even at my lvl 7x i still have no trouble fighting mobs.. the high critical and great gear makes your life so much easier... If your new i recommend jumping into Manufacturing skills they will be very VERY helpful once u reach into ur lvl 30+

    just make sure u build ur sin right and ull be fineb:victory

    Garra, theres a reason Barbs are depended on so much. They have the def and hp to take a pounding from bosses, and the skills to keep the bosses focused on them. Sins, unless you refine and shard the hell outta your gear, wont have ANYWHERE NEAR the hp and def of a barb, especially if the barb is in tiger form (and even then, you still wont come close to their hp and def). Theres a reason barbs can have 15k hp and higher in the mid 80s and up b:laugh.

    But seriously, for a new player, id reccommend that a new person play either a blademaster, barbarian, psychic, or venomancer to start with. Wizards, Sins, clerics, and archers require some experience with the basic mechanics of the game before you can really become effective. BMs and Barbs are pretty good, seeing as they have nice hp and defense, and decent accuracy. Psychics start 2-3 shotting mobs early on due to their getting an atk buff at lvl 9, and Venos use their pets to take the dmg from mobs, whilst they dish it out.

    Garra did make a good point mentioning the cost of the barbarians. They have VERY high repair costs (i have a mid 50s barb, and my repairs average out to 15-20k each time i go to repair stuff,) and also either need to be charmed a LOT, or use hp potions/ hp apothecary items/ hp foods religiously. Clerics, Wizards, and Psychics have a similar problem, except that in their case, its mp and not hp. Clerics chew thru mp like crazy healing ppl, Wiz skills eat up mana pretty quickly, and Psychic defense barriers eat up a small % of mp with EACH hit they take.

    if ur talking end game i agree with u .. however reading up on the end game for sins they seem to be a bit of a problem for all classes.
