How do hyper stones work?

Just curious how the new hyper stones work. For example, if I wanna do 12x exp once per day, do I have to get 5 hyper stones per day or just buy 5 that will last forever?

The reason I ask is because I'm thinking about playing again and I wanna see if this is a new, fun way to level or a new scam by pwi to get more money.

    damn so you DO have to spend 5 gold per day for one hour of 12x? ;o

    PWE ain't gonna make money if they let you have five Hyper Stones that you can use repeatedly on the hour every hour for x12 EXP rates now, would they?

    It's already insanely easy to level without them. 3 BHs a day produces enough high level newbs for us as it is :P.

    Bounty Hunter. Search will give you a better description of that than I would. Basically you do FBs ~10 levels below you for ridiculous amounts of exp each day.
