Should I be a cleric.

I think I want to be a cleric because I love being a support. Is it a good altogether class. And I just wanted to drop in and say I'm new and kind of need support from others. Thanks alot. -Not being sarcastic. By the way does this game have ingame video recording.

    well seeing how you like support, and posted this in the cleric section your responses will be biased.

    As for the 2nd question, there is no ingame recording feature without the use of a 3rd party such as Fraps / Camstudio.

    I think it's a good class, especially if you like squad support... but then, I'm a cleric... posting in a cleric forum xD

    Yep, we'll definitely be biased. b:chuckle

    And my biased opinion is...

    If you love to help and be helped, you'll definitely want to at least try a cleric. We're the easiest class to find squads, since every squad *needs* at least one cleric, but we're also pretty capable of independent questing, if we choose. (Yesterday, I soloed a boss 5 levels over me. b:victory )

    If you really want a lot of support at your lower levels, though, you'll want to find a nice, friendly faction. Those are the lifesblood of this MMO, and a good one will always have someone willing to help you take out a boss or run a dungeon with you. There a plenty of factions to choose from, so feel free to be picky. b:laugh

    THanks alot guys b:dirty I decided to be a cleric. The game is now 97% downloaded. I hope to meet some of you in game gah what server should I choose?

    If you do choose Dreamweaver, feel free to PM me with any questions and so long as I am not busy/AFK, I'll answer.

    Keep in mind the differences between PvE servers and PvP servers though. On PvP servers, you are forced into PK mode at level 30 and everyone is fair game. On PvE servers, PK mode is an option at level 30+

    Sanctuary's not bad either, lol.

    If you like support, try being a cleric. You'll have to put up with a lot of **** from idiots in random squads in bhs and TTs, but when you find someone that appreciates what you do, it'll be really nice. lol, considering how easily clerics can find squads, you'll find it easier to lvl up by bhs. There are a lot of perks to being a cleric, which I only found out later. ^^

    There are only a couple things that are bad about being a cleric.
    Clerics are super expensive to play.
    We are squishy

    otherwise great class to play.

    We can heal , we can support with buffs/debuffs/BB/RB/revive , we can DD , we can tank magic bosses , we can fly since lvl 1 , we're the best class ever

    The OP loves playing support - is there another profession in PWI that offers more support than a Cleric? Yes, Clerics can DD and solo when the need arises, but I always considered support to be their much needed niche in this game.

    Apart from what the others have said already be prepared to get told its your fault that they introduced anni packs ,since its our fault for everything else in the game b:laugh

    If you like being invited into squads because you're so useful, great.

    If you can handle abuse, great.
    If you can handle assy, ignorant, stupid people, great.

    If not... then nah.
