Out of curiousity, what's the weirdest, non-sexual reason that you've either been distracted in an instance/gone afk in an instance?

For me, in terms of being distracted, I once did a RB run while playing chinese checkers with my significant other. Ironically, despite my distractedness, I actually did rather well.

The weirdest reason I've had to go AFK, was to get a bird out of a squirrel trap my mom had set.

    I was on that run, and will happily point out that you did rather well after nearly causing a failure. If you had come back one second later that RB would have failed. You got incredibly lucky.

    That aside I've had lots of reasons for being distracted and going AFK. I've had to go AFK to grab a slice of cake because otherwise my brother would eat it and I've been completely distracted by Sudoku, or simply trying to find a good song to listen to. Really, it's kind of a long list.

    Tbh, you can sleep through a RB Gamma as a Wiz after second boss b:surrender.

    I watched a lot of The Daily Show and Colbert Report during TTs back then. b:chuckle

    I can't think of weird reason for me to go AFK other than "**** late for my class" or "Oh, I have a final in half a hour".

    I accidentally took an overdose on some medinine and was REALLY ATTENTIVE because of it. The TV was on and then I saw that Cheez-It commercial...

    One time one of those slug bug cars crashed into a semi outside my house(the semi took more damage b:shocked). I rushed outside to see.

    Weirdest reason for going afk would be a friend from high school dropping by unannounced and running over my mailbox. I just jammed the key for venomous scarab down and went left in the middle of killing percussion in 1-3. Came back and found out I had died from AoE and nobody wanted to TT with me again.

    I went afk to take some Ambien and came back and killed most people in my faction! I think that is the only weird afk one I have had...b:surrender

    i guess it was yesterday when i got call from mom and was told that apartment in my house is burning. i wrote afk in guild chat but forgot to say anything to bh squad. went out, didnt saw any smoke. so i walked around sniffing house and all i was wearing was night dress + jacket and all neighbours looked at me weird when saw me. in the end i found i small smoke in stair and only thing what came in mind was that someone burned their food and thats it lol. well when came back they got boss down to 70% hp only and didnt rly notice that i were gone lol

    Friends coming in is always something that makes me go AFK.
    I give one friend a hug, oher one a hug, by that time I look back at the computer and see one of them sitting behind it while my squad is getting wiped byt 3 mobs...
    hun.. don't touch anything. they're getting murdered, if you attack u will be dead too. you want something to drink?

    XD they didn't like it when I came back ^^' only one still standing. . .

    As well as Air... I was also there. >.>

    Best time ever was because my mom finally got the bird out of his cage. :) I hadn't realized it was final wave before boss and I afk'd. Came back to an (almost) failed RB. Thankfully, awesome archer saved the day. xD

    Since I usually don't get home during the week until around 4 or 5, I simply go afk just to put my head down for five minutes to fight the sleepiness. Even worse if I decide to leave the music on...gah, that soft song that plays during BHes gets me every time. Sometimes I go afk to web browse if I get too bored.

    the best thing i ever heard happened on a different game.
    We were a full squad in a dungeon killin mobs and bosses.....
    ....out of no where one of the squad members says "my house is on fire" and directly after he logged out.

    Yes, got back from a party, fairly drunk, managed to log on an get in a BH squad, fell asleep, an when i woke up, i was dead lol...b:surrender

    I've had none of the more dramatic distractions so far, but what I have on a regular base is a young tomcat in need of a hug. He jumps on the table, positions himself between the laptop and me, pushes his head in my face and starts licking my nose. I love him... b:heart

    In a FC one time...and was listerning to some hardstyle...(heavy techo) and this really hard bass track was played...it was so heavy I switched windows to watch people shuffle and play thr track over and over...
