I used the search function and failed so....sry if posted already b:surrender

So I was thinking about whether to get this skill or not (Demon Alacrity of the Beast) Well guess what? I got it from a random book b:surrender So now I have to decide whether its worth learning or not.

This is my reason for not wanting to learn it.

Cooldown now sits at 8 secs at level 10 which is pretty spot on for canceling spells on bosses and I'm afraid it will throw me off if the cooldown goes from 8 to 7 seconds.

Reasons I want to learn it are the increased damage, and faster cooldown to use it for PvP reasons?

Any opinions on this skill would be nice. I really would like the extra damage but if it effects my tanking ability by throwing off my timing I might not like it.

Help me plz b:surrenderb:cry

If you can count to 5, I'd think it's worth to learn it, since bosses attack 5 times and them use a skill. Might take some practice though, to count attacks instead of timing cooldowns. Still learning it.

If you wish to learn it, what you could do is, every time the skill coolsdown wait a couple attacks and then stop autoattack. Then just wait till you see a channeling circle. You can cast alacrity almost immediately this way. (assuming your lag isn't too bad)

Although this might be an issue with tanking bosses that either
    A) have a very small channel window (ie fb69 bosses)
    or
    B) bosses do not have channeling circle.

So if you aren't doing too many of those bosses under those categories go ahead and upgrade

So I decided to learn Demon Alacrity of the Beast, it takes alittle more attention then b4 but nothing a good tank can't adjust to.

Basically just wait an extra attack after cooldown, that's about it, I just count the damage numbers more now then b4.

The extra damage is nice to have and I'm ok with the adjustment.

Harder to use then b4 but it was too easy b4 anyway. So anyone who wants to learn it be my guest :)

    Thx for posting b:pleased

Thanks for the info. Won't help me much because I'm sage, but it's still good to know.
