Level 3 to 4 blacksmith troubles?

I have a level 46 cleric character and she has blackmith level 3, the skill mastery is 30/30 but no matter how many more items I make at level 3 it doesn't move on to level 4... It stays at 100% on level 3.

Someone told me I had to do a quest named "Step 2" But there is nothing in my quests or under find quests of that name.

I went to the elder and he will only sell me Tailor level 3 and Apothecary level 2 but no Blacksmith one?

How do I get it to level 4? b:sad

    Getting level 4 crafting, tailoring, and blacksmith is a real pain (and very costly)!

    In addition to getting 30/30 on your skill mastery, you also have to complete the step 2 quests which will require you to make three specific 2* items for each of the manufacturing skills. Whether you farm all the mats yourself or decide to purchase the 2* items from the auction house, the cost of getting everything to level 4 will be in the millions (lost income on the mats you could have sold or the actual cost of purchasing the items).....just so you are aware b:surrender

    Drop rates for rough fur, purified oil, concentrated glue, and silk thread won't be too bad at level 46 so I'd suggest you take a break from leveling and just farm the mobs that drop those mats for a while. You'll need lots of those if you want to get everything to level 4 (I'd recommend at the very least to get 60 of each (you'll definitely need more though)). Good thing is that it's 2x drops at the moment so you'll have an easier time farming mats for a few more days.

    VerebKaunis makes a great point, with 2x drops happening, now is the perfect time to farm mats. Unfortunately, the best level to farm purified oil and silk is in the early/mid 30's and the best mobs for rough fur are at level 39 (the sharks). Consequently, you are already getting dinged with a level penalty that will hurt your drop rate.

    I would definitely take advantage of the 2x drops while it lasts but I would suggest after that...just level your cleric up and make a veno to farm and financially support your cleric....that is what I did b:victory

    Even though my veno is quite a bit lower in levels, she can still make more money than my cleric in the same space of time. Also....veno's are a lot of fun to play so its a win-win situation b:pleased

    Anyways, its just a suggestion.

    Yes, the mobs with the highest drop rate for the mats are in the mid to high 30s and OP being 46 (possibly 47 at this point) would reduce the drop rate to about 60-70% of the normal rates. Get as many mats as you can before the event ends.

    Yeah I know it would be costly but it's not a problem, I have a ton of mats already lol xD
    And I have a veno so it's not so bad.

    But I hit level 50 and still no quest...?
