    Never said pure melee. But think about it, when fighting bosses, if I'm using Amp (and other skills), it's pretty danged inefficient to keep switching back and forth from one form to the next.

    Well, level up to lvl100 when you have all your -% chan gear, spammable demon/sage caster skills, sparks and pretty amazing magic DPS (if you're well equiped) and then we can continue this discussion.

    Just out of curiosity, where did you get these numbers? The +50 atk level doesn't apply to the weapon's matk, it applies to the final amount of damage

    If we are talking only about the weapon, its pretty much the same damage either way.

    If a fully geared char would equip a warsoul, the damage output would be greater, because as you say it does not apply to the weapon itself.

    Since this value changes quite a bit depending on the char build, equips, etc its quite hard to determine the magic attack.

    The same stuff they were smoking when they made tideborn weapons.
    FC daggers has +19 DEX add twice I think.
    and the lvl 69 legendary has +16 DEX twice.
    The chillum is sometimes referred to as a chalice, based on a quote from the Biblical book of Deuteronomy. Thanks and praises are offered to Jah before smoking the chillum.

    Ok guys PW calc is absolutely correct about damage. So we can depend and trust it.
    More important is, that damage is not very different from R8.b:victory

    I could have already told you that, nirvana has roughly 100 more magic attack at +12, but rank 8 will always be 2 socket. So the extra shard you get lowers the higher magic attack.

    So if nothing change my path is clear. I just regret chest armor rank8 has lower HP gain with refines. But you can have 4 sockets so is approximately the same.
