Bug Fixes or New Content?

This is a strange poll; so the people who voted simply "Bug Fixes" don't actually want new content? Getting rid of the 3rd and 4th options might make this a more useful poll.0

I think it's more that those of us who voted on just bug fixes want that to be the main focus instead of content. Especially when you consider that new content brings new bugs into account (walking around the building Tideborn elder is at, anyone?) and we have enough bugs as is.
As I originally said, new content is nice and all, but eventually people are going to get fed up with the list of bugs only increasing.0 -

Personally I voted for "Bug Fixes". I do like new content, as everyone does and would enjoy more end-game content (Lvl 100+ stuff). However, I feel that some bug fixes should be implemented for current game content, and that that point new content should be released. b:victory0 -

I'd be pretty willing to bet that bug fixes and content development are handled by two separate development groups.
That being said... threads and complaints about bugs being fixed would be greatly reduced if you actually decided to give detailed patch notes. I'm certain that you're internally aware of the current list of bugs and list of fixes as they are corrected. Perhaps posting a list of actual fixes would remove some of the illusion that PWE does nothing to fix bugs.
I know publishing such a list would introduce other concerns, but it would quell the tide of people claiming that nothing is being done when that is clearly not the case.
I want new content, personally. Look at my post count... (as well as the OPs list) this comes from a lack of things to do in-game when you're 10x. lolI post in forums. This one and others. That's why I post.0 -
yeah half that list was nitpicking **** but some stuff really does need fixing...nice how most people ignore the real bugs and flame everything else.
Stuff that affects me :
1. rubberbanding makes me not want to play after i spend 5 minutes attempting to walk down a hill
2. getting 1kd in rebirth, happened in warsong a few times too
3. flying pets gettin stuck in the ground
4. tidebourn running glitch and unable to use skills
5. cleric buffs not overwriting
6. quests glitching and not able to be finished... mostly MQ failing when leaving pt, the fire and water orb, quest to kill drummer in HH, the boss in burning heart (forget its name). most lunar quests too however this instance isnt finished yet apparently.
7. mobs killing you after teleporting into an instance usually 79 or 69
8. damage reduction when fighting water mobs in the swamp
9. instances glitching when hitting the ? invisible mobs
10. game crashing and experiencing unusually bad lag in the tidebourn area, also flickering black screen not sure if this is my graphics card. i cant change it so dont bother finding out. b:surrender
just my 2 cents ^.^0 -

The focus has now shifted from "Should bugs fixes be implemented, new content, both, or none?". The point of the thread is to see what people want, not to have me post stuff then flame. If you don't like this thread by all means GFTO and leave. If yer gonna post, make something constructive and don't fail. Read my previous post for the reply on the bug list.
There are issues with program bugs that have not yet been fixed.
Past experience shows that complaining about them in Forum, once PWI has acknowledged the problem, does nothing to advance the issue.
This thread started off as a poll on "Would you prefer bugfixes or new content?", not a list about Tremblewith's Gameplay "issues". Your list of "bugs" grew to a list of Pet Peeves, in order to make the list look bigger. It was piling on, and we're all aware of it.
I believe the devs know what the problems are, and are working on it.
Start thread -> invite responses -> don't like responses -> above response.

I'd like to see it fixed by not allowing anyone to stand on top of an NPC more than, say, 30 seconds.
Wouldn't it be nice to be able to see if that NPC has a flag or not, without the 24/7/365 catshop that sits on it?

+1 to the pair of these.
Posting a list of bug fixes would, indeed, quell the idea that the company does jack when it comes to bugs. Of course, people would still complain about the really annoying rubberbanding glitches and suchlike, or any bug that would remain unfixed, but it would quash the illusion bugs are left to sit and rot.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
rubberbanding is really getting on my nerves. and the TB area has so many glitches my game crashes when im over there. my psychic is doomed to be lvl 3 forever. New content is great but only AFTER bugs are fixed as to not add any more bugs to an already very buggy game. Fix first new **** always 2nd
my 2 cents...

Something that annoys you does not necessarily mean it's a bug. Duke being silent isn't a bug. Dying at the hands isn't a bug, even if you personally don't see yourself inside their ring. At this point in the game, getting 1K'd in RB might as well not be a bug, it's been there so long.
So before you rant at us accusing us of asking for a list of bugs and then flaming what we got, please consider that no, not everything in that list was a bug, not all of it effected any kind of gameplay, and most of it was nit-picking to try and make PWE look bad.
