wheres /sarcasm at the end of your post?
im waiting for a fix on lunar quests, afaik i wont outgrow them. ever. besides i WANT to be able to do them.
its not a matter of customer service, i really have no problems with ppl there, i sent ticket, and staff really looked into it (ty BearClaw ) but atm nothing more can be done about quest i cant take, quest drops that wont drop and npc that isnt standing at his designated place. so im all for bugs fixes getting priority now...[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

It was somewhat sarcastic, but very honest.
Out of the list that was posted earlier 8 were actual gameplay bugs that need fixing, the rest were a collection of graphical errors, connectivity issues, end-user issues or just plain nitpicks.
What you're talking about is a content issue. Yes, I agree, they need to complete the instance, but it will be completed in one of their upcoming content updates, which serves my point exactly. You are not complaining about a bug, but a lack of content. lol

Is it a game glitch though or a comp/net problem your Gf's end ?
Since its doesnt happen to the majority of people doudt its the games fault0 -
nope she has a good computer and a good net connection so cant be that and i have had the same glitch happen to me just not on every book (one of the reasons i dont do WQ anymore)[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

If the "New Content" wouldn't be some new pack or a unneccessary sale again, I'd go for both content and bug fixes.
I myself have had problems with only 2 bugs. One is when you jump and run, then end up in the same place you started from. It's really annoying as I sometimes get killed this way.
Second bug is when I set up my shop and leave it there for more than 20 minutes, game crashes. This way I obviously can't sell anything -.-
Other than those 2 bugs, I'm fine, but I'm sure there are more people who think something else should be changed.
P.S. The hairstyle thing is really annoying too, I didn't have that old haircut on my main, but on my other character. New one looks hideous and it doesn't match my characters' looks. I made her to look like one person in my favourite movie and gave her matching name, now she doesn't look like that at all And yes, I sent in more than 1 ticket, nothing was changed <.< I'm just happy that she isn't my main, but I know some people who have the same problem on their main characters.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

Also I realize the game can't be bug free. I for one just want to see bugs being fixed, as there are bugs in PWI that have been present since PWI opened in beta.
Also, I wish they would add the rest of the TB expansion as well as you all do . In my opinion, PWE's management team shouldn't of put out the TB expansion until it was completely done. It would be like me doing a 6 page paper for College, and only turning in 3 pages and saying to the instructor - I'll give ya the last 3 pages in a bit.
You have no way of knowing this, at all. Just because they don't detail each change and modification they do in the Patch notes does *not* mean they are not fixing any bugs, and you know it.
Obviously some bugs are easy to fix, and some are hard to fix, and some are not cost-effective to fix.

It is not just a matter of completing the instance. There is a bug in one of the solo quests that we were originally told was safe to do (only squad mode was supposed to be affected). But now several people have lost teleport talismans because a specific NPC is missing so the quest couldn't be completed. That is a bug.
A lot of the bugs can be dealt with and are only minor annoyances, but there are some that greatly affect gameplay and they could at least make an attempt to fix one or two. The PK enabled entry point in the Cube is really annoying, but their answer to it is simply "screenshot and we will ban." I have lost portions of HP charms in there when I lagged loading in on my old comp, and have seen others do the same. I have also screenshotted and sent in a ticket, only to see the same person one week later pking. Their answer is not an answer and that should be fixed.
The cleric buffs are also definitely annoying, especially when the mag def buff runs out during a boss fight. The rubberband glitch has caused death for myself once and others as well. Accidentally touching a wall in FB69 and getting stuck there has happened to me several times, once causing me to be stuck there for ages because town portal hadn't cooled down. The teleport map issues means I can't teleport to Raging Tide without crashing my computer because I play in widescreen windowed mode. The glitched boss in FB59 has left some people having to redo that whole valley because the quest fails just before the boss dies. And being unable to scroll the little chat window where my damage/exp/spirit are listed drives me crazy; they flipped it around and they should flip it back.
The fact remains that fixing bugs doesn't make them money. So we will be extremely lucky if one of the more major issues ever does get fixed.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

3. Unable to go in Widescreen as map doesn't fit
4. Dying in TT by the "hands" when not actually inside the hands on your screen, but in the hands on someone else's screen
5. Shooting back up when dropping down on WQ, and staying in mid-air
6. Faction members offline, but showing that they are online in the faction
7. DCing, but character is still in-game for 5-10 minutes before being booted by the server
8. Duke is turned off and quite (Yes, I know "It's being worked on")
9. TPing out of specific instances in specific areas, causing player to end up in a "secret room"
10. Avatar issues in the forums (Not being updated for days after player lvls)
11. When in squad, mini-map often lags showing a player is in a specific location, and upon reaching that location, the mini-map updates within' 1-2 minutes
All I can think of atm. If I were to sit here for an hour or two, I could very easily compile a list of 100+ bugs/glitches. At one point or another, each one of these bugs/glitches effect me.
Ok...let's go through this shortened list of bogus "bugs" that he pointed out...here we go:
1. Has been explained as a problem with your graphics card...and how are they supposed to fix that? Come to your house and replace your graphics card for you? And how does it "affect your gameplay" to have glitched plants/mounts? Moving on...
2. I don't have a problem with this...maybe you scrolled up? If you scroll up even the least bit, the window will not follow the conversation down. Next...
3. Try messing with the resolution of your full-screen. Make it as large as you can and see what happens. (I have had no problems with this, but I do play on a VERY large widescreen monitor.) Continuing...
4. This is called LAG...simple as that. Happened to me a few times, which is what is nice about being an assassin. I can stand in the hands when they explode as long as I have Deaden Nerves on.
5. Yet again...LAG. The lag causes the client (YOUR computer's version) to stop you way up in the air because it believes that is where the ground is. If you were to go to another computer of a person looking at your character, you would most likely be standing on the ground. I have heard of one where someone was standing on their screen, and someone else saw them running as if against a wall.
6. This can be fixed by clicking on the refresh button on the Faction display window...it's the two little yellow arrows in the corner.
7. This occurs to prevent people from force-DCing to avoid getting killed by a mob or in a fight with another PvPer. If they know their character is going to die, they might disconnect their computer to avoid it. However, by leaving the character in-game, the character would die whether the person DC'ed or not. This has its downsides, yes, but it is for the better.
8. Not a bug, and doesn't affect gameplay in the least. Last time he was talking, I actually stopped for a while until he stopped talking. Thus, having him talk might not be in the best interests of PWI. However, they should still have some announcement of the Wraith attacks.
9. Not a bug, was announced as an easter egg in the original version...(Read the forums before making judgments.)
10. Again...how does this affect your gameplay? Do you just enjoy showing your supposed superiority to everyone else in here? This is the kind of stuff that makes me wonder about people...
11. Do I even need to say it? He said it himself...LAG. It happens. Online means pings drop and rise randomly...Go play a normal, single-player RPG if you don't want lag, or make a LAN game of some other RPG. Have fun playing by yourself.
Well, I think that just about says it all about the bogus claims of gameplay affecting bugs. Thanks for reading, if you do!
And I know...Double Post >.<For those times when *facepalm* and *headdesk* just aren't enough, I present...*brickhead*...painful, effective, and guaranteed to make you forget why you hit yourself in the first place.

Fix the bugs please. I don't care for new content, I just want the bugs to be fixed. Like PK tourney (I haven't logged on to check to see whether or not it is back this week) and getting thrown out of instances like Rebirth due to over-damage inside and find yourself laying dead outside. And those Tideborn skills! I haven't even bothered leveling my Tideborn much because the skills aren't even in yet. b:angryI call it how I see it.

i disagree. when you already have quest in quest log and are unable to complete it its a bug. that part of content is already there, its just not working as intended. so imo - a bug. new content could be 4 more quests to do there for example or a completely different map / mode...[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
Wow, lotta responses when from when I went to bed lol. Okay, here goes...
Yes, a good amount of the list I created is "annoyances", but guess what? They are real bugs/glitches in the game. I also want to point out that lag "can", and key word here is "can", cause rubberbanding. Rubberbanding that 99.9% of players in PWI are experiencing is caused by PWI itself, and not your ISP or net speed. I effing promise this.
SinCityChick said a **** ton of stuff that was not true. First off, the bug in the faction window happens to be this:
Example: Blowme just logged on. Blowme just logged off. Blowme is still online when refreshing the faction window. *Whispers blowme... Oh right, blowme is offline*. How can blowme be online but offline? Also, this faction window bug lasts 'till the player logs on again, or up to 72 hours.
As for Duke being turned off... Your right, it's not a bug per-say. However it's something that was once working, then turned off due to anni packs, and now people miss races/events. Bug?
As for the people that posted saying it's "Lag" (Omgawsh lag? lololol), that causes mini-map freezing, rubberbanding, shooting up in mid-air and actually staying in mid-air, and all that jazz... Your wrong. I dare you, get T3 Internet. Get a I7 Quad core computer w/ 8gb of ram. Tell me that PWI doesn't still have these problems.... Oh right! You can't, as no matter your ISP, internet speed, processing speed, computer, ping... It all has nothing to do with that stuff ^
-Widescreen issue has been said by the GMs as a bug
-Window scrolling using the side-bar to scroll for your text/chat box has been stated to be a bug
-Dying by hands in TT w/ not in hands is a bug as once again it has nothing to do w/ lag
-Graphical bugs HAVE been stated by GMs in the past that they could fix them, by rendering specific texture layers out of the mounts/aerogear/plants
-And again, each one of these bugs does effect me or has in the past. Don't come up with fake conclusions to what has and hasn't effected me. If it's on the list, it's affected me.0 -

No, it's not a bug. As RedMenace said [and please go read his post again and try and comprehend it this time] it is a feature. Because Duke was manually turned off, and nobody has bothered to turn him back on again, because we still have corals, which would be like anni packs and fire off every time somebody wins something, and then everybody would complain.
So. Bug? No.
Also, dying in the hands when you don't appear to be in them on your screen, but everybody else sees you in them, is lag. Not lag of your connection necessarily, maybe it's server lag, but it is lag. Got it memorised?

That's not a bug, it appears you're not familiar with the term. The npc is no longer there, why you ask? Because it has not been announced that it is complete yet, so we don't have the official go-ahead that all is well. It is currently under development, still. That means anything that has to do with Lunar may change... in fact, anything in game may change at the discretion of the development team. Even if he was removed by mistake, that's not a bug.
A bug would be... sometimes he's there, sometimes he's not... you see a flag over his head, but he has no quests, or you can grab the quest and complete the goal but not get confirmation that the quest is complete or not being able to turn in the quest after the goal has been reached.A lot of the bugs can be dealt with and are only minor annoyances, but there are some that greatly affect gameplay and they could at least make an attempt to fix one or two. This, as well as the rebirth glitch have been around and reported ages ago. But it doesn't really affect gameplay... it's an annoyance at best and it's not like someone is always there to attack you.The cleric buffs are also definitely annoying, especially when the mag def buff runs out during a boss fight. Rubberbanding isn't a glitch and can be due to several things.. internet lag, corrupt or missing packets from either transmit/receive, or could be that your charachter moved in-game more than you are allowed so your position is defined and reset when the server sends the information back to your client. I admit it's annoying, however if pwi were to "fix" this, it's likely it would introduce movement exploits.
Accidentally touching the wall in FB69? There are places in every instance where you may get stuck... it's usually from wedging yourself between terrain features and yeah, they should be fixed.
RT teleport crash doesn't always happen though. I agree that it should be fixed, but I suspect that it has something to do with the client being quite old and the newer content pushing the engine to do a bit more than it was ever originally intended to do. This might be one of the more difficult bugs to fix. I agree it should be fixed, it's annoying. The fact remains that fixing bugs doesn't make them money. So we will be extremely lucky if one of the more major issues ever does get fixed.
Hmm... lets see, recently, the memory leak that was fixed a while ago was reintroduced causing everyone's clients to crash a LOT was fixed. The windowed mode screen resize to a black screen bug was fixed. The overlay bug when the window size was adjusted would be incorrect was recently fixed. So, they are indeed fixing bugs...I post in forums. This one and others. That's why I post.0 -

Okay, so not being able to read the exact amount of EXP, and the smilies missing a cigarette, and every other pointless little thing that 99% of the rest of the PWI world knows but doesn't care about because it's really not important and doesn't effect gameplay somehow effects your gameplay, thus meaning it has to be fixed?
Please get off your high horse and reread what people have told you.
Much of what you stated isn't a bug in the first place whether it effects your gameplay or not. There are also plenty of solutions to a few of your little problems, and if you don't use those, then sorry, but it's not our fault you're too dumb to do so.
Really. You could learn to make a constructive list of real bugs yourself so you don't fail, and stop QQing when everybody tells you that you're stupid for thinking Duke's silence is a bug, or that an item of fash for female labelled "male" needs to be fixed.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

Most of those things on the list seem like minor annoyances and I'd rather have more high level content than some of those fixes [read: for high levels only...not low leve or mid level or 'for mid levels to rush to high levels and do nothing content'] But seriously no need to yell at the OP for listing these things; he presented his ideas nicely.
That being said, as a cleric I really only want one thing from PWI
FIX FREAKING MAGIC SHELL b:angry
It's the cause of quite a few gameplay issues, and if it were fixed I really really wouldn't care about people who say 'rebuff' before all the hour buffs wear out in squad, because they'd all be on the same timer.
That is all; just one simple request b:cry0 -

I am staying on topic.
You asked for bug fixed.
We told you that the majority of what you listed were not bugs. That's exactly on topic. When you can come, and make a list of real bugs that annoy more than just you, rather than trying to hunt out the most ridiculous of typos [like the fashion **** you stated] just so the list looks bigger, than I might consider your post with more validity.
All you have done is gone out finding things that annoy you - regardless of whether they are bugs - and have asked people whether they want your long-**** list of non-bugs fixed. The answer?
No.
Now go find me a list of real bugs that annoys everybody, that everybody wants to see fixed, and I might consider actually reading your whole OP in the first place. Because it won't be full of ****.

No, most of them are nitpicks or things that do not afffect gameplay. I counted 8 real issues that you posted. Chinese characters in the pre-loading screen popup? You have GOT to be freaking kidding, or not very bright. 1) This is a game not coded in english. 2) The file that window pulls is most likely an easily updatet txt or html file. 3) Just seeing that you posted this as a bug just shows how much you're nitpicking. I mean, come on now...SinCityChick said a **** ton of stuff that was not true.
Actually she was right on the mark.Example: Blowme just logged on. Blowme just logged off. Blowme is still online when refreshing the faction window. *Whispers blowme... Oh right, blowme is offline*. How can blowme be online but offline? Also, this faction window bug lasts 'till the player logs on again, or up to 72 hours.
Yeah, that really affects your gameplay to no extent. You know every time you click that refresh icon, the server has to poll who is on or offline? It's not always immediately accurate. As for Duke being turned off... Your right, it's not a bug per-say. However it's something that was once working, then turned off due to anni packs, and now people miss races/events. Bug?
Bug? WTF. It's not a bug. Sorry, you're getting really annoying by misusing terms and whining about things that really don't matter. Leaving Duke shouts off for wraith attacks is bad... everyone just wants the whole server to go to some lowbie wraith attack and kill-steal everyone. Or have it turn into a major pk fest.. ok I admit I'd miss that part. Yeah, turn it back on. lolAs for the people that posted saying it's "Lag" (Omgawsh lag? lololol), that causes mini-map freezing, rubberbanding, shooting up in mid-air and actually staying in mid-air, and all that jazz...
Wow... shortsighted much? Lag can be several different things... and for being as much of a computer GOD as you are, you fail to realize this why? Your client, well probably not yours, but the client can lag... your internet connection, no matter how fast it is, be susceptible to lag any any point in the chain to and from PWI servers. There is also the possibility of lost/corrupt packets either transmitted or received that could cause you to rubberband. Perhaps the server itself is lagging? Oh wait those aren't even possibilities, my mistake.
OMG I have a car that can go 1000 miles per hour, cept it's like 6pm on the highway and I don't seem to be able to go faster than 35 MPH!!! Wonder if it's the fact that it's rush hour and there is traffic congestion at work here... hmm? lol
EDIT: I will say there are a number of rubberband issues that are indeed bugs/glitches that should be fixed, but those are not the typical rubberbanding that most people complain about. Standing on top of an npc and trying to walk off it, you rubberband, this should be fixed... also in many parts of Lunar or Abaddon by water, you try to run and you will rubberband, This should be fixed... the rubberbanding you get from riding your mount and running downhill and jumping, as well as falling off a mountain... those aren't really glitches or bugs, but they are annoying as hell. They're movement corrections sent by the server making sure you're not moving faster than you're supposed to. Removing this would lead to speed hacking/exploting.I post in forums. This one and others. That's why I post.0 -
