Players Camping to pk people questing

Now i know Lost City is a PVP server and a few of you will say "Get over it" but while trying to get to a NPC to turn in a quest, while i was turning it in, i was pk'd by "OneShotU". Not that i mind to much but i noticed EVERY player who went where the huge floating buildings are in Heavens Tear, got pk'd by the same person over and over. It eventually took me 3 tries to hand in the quest that i spent 3 hours on due to the above mentioned player.

Its just my opinion but it might be a good idea to have more protection for people questing that dont want to be pk'd or move to a PVE server in the way of something that reflects attacking players damage back at them, IF the attacked player has the "Option" ticked. That way if your trying to level your character, you dont have to be worried about pk'ers.

Whats your thoughts? Have you had this happen to you?

    it happened to all of us. i've did it once as a celebration for getting to lvl 70 and introducing myself as a new RPKer. but i avoid doing it because most people who do that tries to do that just to put their name on a spot of the pk list. most ppl who only chill on HT are noobs and they reinforce the steriotype that everyone on the pk list only got their from lowbie kills which isnt true. i dont really have respect for ppl like that because as an RPKer myself that worked to get up there, its a kick in the face to me. as for thing you said about the reflect thing... thing, thing... nahh, its a pvp server, the only thing thats supposed to save you from pk is save zone or being lvl 150.
    I don't care how old or young you are, how small your **** is, how much of a nerd irl you are or how depressed you are that you never will get laid. There is no reason to act like an A-hole to everyone on an mmorpg. Its a shame that I have to take time out of my day to tell people "stop being an A-hole". So I end with this, if your acting like an A-hole, and some one tells you your being an A-hole chances are your being an A-hole.

    I say, make the first hit do 0 damage when a player tries to pk another player. After that attacks do damage like normal. This gives a person more time to finish talking to an npc or whatever.

    It would also make things more interesting.

    It would give the person being attacked a chance to fight back, which is the most important part of pvp, 2 players hitting each other.

    I'd just be funny though and make the entire game a safezone.

    You play get though it.

    Have fun until you go to swamp now that is bad place. But you play though it again.

    Then you have less pking and a fun times again.

    I have had quest for when I was a higher lv than most ppl in that area and veno tried to PK me didnt even make a dent she said sorry buffed me and ran away. Now that was fun.

    what you want to do is first ask around for help.

    if that doesn't work then you fly as high as you can, drop down right above the NPC and get the quest quickly before they realize.

    This. Worked me wonders getting vol 29 when its surrounded by people trying to pk me.

    you seriously don't understand how making the first hit do 0 damage would effect pvp

    and you want the whole game to be a safezone? it's called a pve server

    Anyways I also agree they should make HT a safe zone.

    LOL!!!!! he's around 60-70... Harvester guild I remember.. I was just chillin in hidden orchid, and he comes and attacks me.. I tell him to stop and he kills me. *Clicks go to town and heals and gathers chi by attacking monsters with no wep from the air* Ok time to go kill him.... *Silences, Reduces his magic def by 60%, Sleeps, Sutra+Spells*

    *Archer goes down in 2 hits... last spell don't hit* I warned you... b:laugh

    There is a difference between "normal" pk and camping you for hours. Or you could always go to a different spot/quest and come back later. Log a Ticket if you are that concerned about it, as you should not "call people out" here on the forums.....b:surrender

    However, it is much milder now then it used to be imo...my Tideborn has had it pretty easy and has only been killed by high 9x-10x b:chuckle

    meh alot of high lvl pkers are too afraid to fight their own lvl so they just camp and kill people 40 or so lvls lower..

    I'm almost 70, and I just LOL when I get pk'd. Some RPK'ers think I might be a tough target, so they usually buff right before attacking me...

    Then when I die on the first hit (I'm pure mage), we both LOL. It's part of the game, and honestly it's pretty funny most of the time. I don't always lose, either. I've managed to pull a one-shot Sandstorm out a few times on higher levels when I get lucky and crit them for 8-10k hit points. b:laugh

    But to the OP, I agree that it sucks when you get RPK'd at quest spots. So, I propose we solve the problem without involving any GM's: Start a new "protection faction", sort of like a PWI mafia. For a certain amount of money, one or two of the faction members will be sent to the quest spot to kill any RPK'ers they find. It would be sort of like the "MakeMoney" faction in Lost City, except they would make money by doing hits rather than selling mats. What do you guys think? I'd love to join a PWI mafia when I get to 90+... b:sin

    yea the whole people camping a quest spot gets annoying whether it be a wq or marriage quest spot...but you learn just to not complain....lvl up and when you finally get that chance with that person out in the open 1v1 you take revenge....grant it...it may be a while before you see certain people by themselves xD

    as for my rpk philosophy, when I do go out to fight I don't like to stay in one place for too long and I don't like to kill the same people more than once...and love trying to find other 9xes to fight...that is the only way you truly get better....though if I find a couple of 8xs together I might try to fight so I can work on surviving when being attacked by groups of people...
