Can't get in-game anymore

Not sure why I can't, whether It has something to do with my computer or whatever. But one thing I do know is that I can't get in game at all.

^This is all it shows. Whenever I click the start button it doesn't do anything. Clicking verify does nothing either.

    Either go into your task manager (ctrl alt del), go into processes, and end elementclient.exe and pwprotector.exe, or restart your computer.

    Thanks so much! This caused me a lot of grief. Can't believe how simple it was to fix.

    Any idea why this happened in the first place?

    It happens when something unexpectedly logs you out of game, maybe a computer crash, or you didn't exit correctly. The client never really "ended" itself properly.
