Please have Duke Blacke start announcing the wraith attacks again, either that or have a regular schedule for them throughout the week for different days and times at certain towns. It really blows.

    I second that. I used to love the wraith attacks. In the four months i've been back at this game, i've yet to see a SINGLE ATTACK! Strike that, i did see one... at a place with lvl 80+ mobs lol. Granted if they're announced again all the HIGH levels will go and one shot everything leaving us nothing (which is the reason they stoppped the announcements, not to keep from clogging up the chat log)..... but that wont' happen ALL the time. It'd be better then standing in a town where the attacks happened ALL DAY waiting for one. I'm not going to do that btw... it's just the only way to find one, unless you happen to fly over one....

    Agreed wraith attacks were aweseom never seen them recently though :(

    I dont believe they know(or have ability) to have both wraith attack announcement on and not have anni pack red text spam.

    we requested no red text spam from anni/coral/ect packs, this is the consequence no tt100/wep of sages/wraith attack announcements

    although since marriage announcements work there should be a workaround....

    Wraith attacks are triggered by an item drop. Most mobs in the game have an item called secret letter. When it drops, it triggers a wraith attack except if its a legion secret letter.

    people are talking about the random wraith attacks at arrowhead, tusk town, broken bridge, allied camp, and a few other places that are not triggered by a secret letter, and have a random chance to occur every hour, and last 15 minutes.

    These attacks still occur, but are no longer announced, so if you aren't in the area when they happen and nobody telly you that its going on, you miss it. It actually works out better because you dont have a bunch of people that out level the attack taking all the kills from the people in the area, who would normally have somewhat of a challenge against the attack.

    secret letters trigger a 1 hour wraith attack at either 1k streams (flying mobs) or just west of DW (land mobs) and are very rare drops for certain regular mobs

    chances for DW secret letter dropping from lvl 60-80 mobs is 0.022% or about 1 in 4500
    chances of 1k secret letter dropping for 80+ mobs is roughly 0.025% or about 1 in 4000

    Wraith attacks and secret letters are not the same thing.
    I post in forums. This one and others. That's why I post.

    I never really nderstood the wraith attacks myself, but if they came back id check em out anyways ^^

    Hi i was suprised today as i was in dreamweaverport alot of Legion Mobs Spawnd and dropped good DQ items / Wraith badges i made in like 10 min 1 mil cash lot exp

    My question will it be a regular event or are there any times when it be again ?

    These wraith are special. They appear just in dreamweaver and 1K(in air-I hate it).
    You can kill them by 1 hit and they drops lot of nice things.
    Normal wraith attack is different. It's not easy to kill with 1 hit. It's like normal mobs, even stronger.

    Legion events (DW/1k) are player spawned by using a Secret letter (which is a rare mob drop)

    Wraith attacks are random computer spawned events

    Yeah I did one today and it made me think about it. It was realllllllly fun a year ago and its still really fun now, the only difference is its hard to know when and where one is taking place. :)

    The development team is still working on the issue as to why the announcements do not appear. So far, no updates.

    I'll let them know that Genghis Khan is inquiring. Maybe that will give them some inspiration. b:sweat
