Class pick suggestions

So I'm totally lost :( I need help on deciding a class. I really want to be able to one shot people at end game and I know wizzies and barbs using armageddon are both very capable of that, the only problem is that I intend to play on a pve server so pvp isn't really an issue :(

I suppose the real question is what would be a more viable option for a pve server when it comes to endgame damage in both the limited pvp I will do and to mobs. I understand that there is no "best" class and its personal preference I just need a little push to make a decision.
I'm open to any suggestions besides veno no offense to them by any means they just don't suit me personality or gender wise.

Any suggestions of advice will be highly appreciated, also I have played for around a year and have had every class to lvl 25 (not high) but its not like I'm lazy and not doing my research.
Thanks
Corey

If you want pure endgame dmg, go with a wiz or cleric. If you want better performance in pve/pvp, pretty much any class will work. Only thing i will say, is that picking barb or cleric will pretty much garuntee you a slot in a squad, tho im sure you know this already. But frankly, unless you use tokens to buy endgame gears and get Rank 8 equips, its unlikely youll one shot anyone, unless you +12 everything you equip. But in all seriousness, just pick a class, and go from there.

Barbs and clerics are (nearly) guaranteed spots in squads, but they're also the classes with the highest expenses... gear repair for barbs, mana stuff (potions, charms, event food) for clerics.

everyone says Veno is a great solo class since your pet takes most the damage you have low repair costs and you don't spend much on healing yourself. I've never played one though so its just what I've heard.

Repair costs are small compared to the amount many venos spend on pet food though, and the only alternative is to buy a tome which costs over 1m each for a basic one! Also at higher levels, you may be overlooked in favor of 'Herc' owners (a very expensive legendary pet) for his ability to take extremes of damage.

In short, there is no 'ideal' class which has every benefit you listed. Try them out individually and play which ever one best suits your playing style. Thats the best advice anyone can offer. You might find that clerics, despite their higher outgoings, suits you better because you can get invites easily and join money-making endeavours like Twilight Temple (TT) runs. Then again, you may prefer the heavy damage of a wizard or archer, or the durability of a barbarian.

Play and discover. It's the best way to know all their strengths.
