Are Dragon Quest Worth it?

ive bhen gathering dq items for awhile to the point my max bank is about full, and i was wandering, is dq quest realy worth doing? are the items you can get from it realy usefull? I would like to hear from people who actuly tried it

    Many say no.

    Personally, I only know about Level 20 & 30. Copper Dragon Orders sell for 25K. For 10 round trips to who knows where, you lose money just in teleport fees. Then there are the required items themselves. You have to have a good inventory or you lose money there as well.

    There are some nice molds available from dragon questing. I sure do love my level 40 robe even though it cost a fortune.

    Visit the Dragon Herald who stands next to the Dragon Quest Director and look at all the stuff that is available.

    Avoid the Dragon Quest Raffle. You get the same or better from mob drops.

    In my opinion it's just not worth the trouble and the money, sure the rewards are great but you'd have to complete them 100s of times

    All depends on how you play I guess. I discovered that I was spending more in pots and repairs, plus time hunting down the drops, than I ever got in return for exp/spirit or coin. There's a couple molds I would like, but when you look at what you'd need to make the mold, it would take me about 3 years to get it all.

    It depends on what item you want to get for the DQ quest rewards. One of the best light armor bracers: Bracers of Blood Moon can be used from level 60-99. Forgot the required number of dragon orders you need to get the mold, but the dq items you turn in to get the mold for getting the silver orders are around 5 mil+. In my opinion that bracer is worth getting for 5-6 mil worth of mats to turn in if you're an archer or sin. You'll also get experience from dq quests.

    well i buying them is easier if lots of people on the server doing them not like on RT i couldnt even get 1 out of 10 silver dragon orders.

    *My archer really wants the penetrator bow to penatrate nubs*b:laugh

    I used the dq to get xp until lvl 93 and I never ran out of quests. Unfortunately the items that you get for the dq-orders aren't that special anymore and you might sell the dq items instead. Nevertheless it's fun to do the dq just to have something additional to do. Certainly some may disagree and find it not worth the effort/coin.

    Nah Dqs really arnt worth the cash you could get from just selling the drops. Nor are they necessary for exp as we now have 3 bhes a day, and by the time your exp slows down a bit things like Justice quest are better than DQ.

    Personal Preference, I guess.

    Right now, I'm ONLY doing DQs after finishing the normal quests. I didn't restart the lvl 20 and 31, though, and I'm thinking about stopping the 41 as well (I'm currently 64, and even the 51/61 items are sometimes hard to get --- like right now, I have to get Violet Glass --- almost no decent monsters drop that. And I have to get Element Crystals --- I'll have to compete for the few monster spawns with a ton of other people doing quests or just grinding). I never buy items, and I never teleport --- so all it takes is time. And a while back they added the ability to fly while AFK, so all is fine --- I can actually do all the DQ travelling while researching about the next game, or making forum posts about how I do DQs.

    Whether or not the dragon orders are useful is something I don't actually care. I collect those coins, and that's it. I want the exp/spirit :-)
    Slow progress, game is getting way too grindy :-( Quests I still hope to be able to do some day: FB39, General Feng
