DLing Game client

anyone else with a great internet connection (mine is up to 6mb/s) having the problem that it is going to take 40+ HOURS to download the game client? first off, What the FORK! 40+ Hours really, and you expect me to

A. have my computer running for the sole purpous of downloading ONE thing for two days?
B. want to finish the download?
C. Tell my friends, "Hey this game is cool, It only take two days to install"

Really? **** i have a WoW account and it will take me less time to DL the WoW: WoTLK game client to my computer, and thats TWICE the size! i like the game but it is NOT worth waiting two days to be able to play. i would rather spend $15 a month on WoW, and have ALL items at my disposal, not some "Ohh you want the top of the line ****? Here Give us Money for our FREE game!" i know, you have to make money some how, how about make it a Pay to Play game?
if not, MAKE IT COMPLETLY FREE! i understand paying to play a game much more than paying to have a better item than that guy. i know, what does it matter what i think you have Multitudes of players and one voice is but a squeak, but one squeak can become a roar!

If you had or are having the problem mentioned above, Make your voice heard!

    Erm...are you sure your computer isn't just doing the equivalent of spinning its wheels in the mud? I downloaded the whole thing in less than an hour with a 1MB/s DL speed... I would seriously consider starting it over if I were you.

    If it doesn't work after re-trying it, I would guess that you are having some sort of problem with a blocker, maybe by your ISP, that is preventing you from using enough bandwidth to make the DL fast. If that is the case, I would suggest DLing the install package from another person's computer onto a transferable disk, and installing it from that to your computer. Then, see if you can update the game at all. If not, I would say your ISP has a bandwitdh block on your internet connection, and you would have to talk to them.

    LOL, i've downloaded PWC in less than... hum ... 5 minutes ??

    Oh yea i have a good ISP and a Highspeed Internet Connection(50 mb/s) ... BUT if the PW Download servers weren't any good i would not be able to download it that fast ...

    What i mean is, is not always PW's fault, check your connection before you throw rocks at people that work FOR FREE for you...
