Any other way to get XP apart from BH's?

In the beginning...

PWI in it's infinite wisdom put in these things called "quests". They mostly involve flying to some new village every few levels and completing a series of these tasks and in return you get EXP, SP, REP and sometimes celestones and armor or ornaments.

Also in Archosaur (and some other locations Tusk Town for example) there are NPCs from which you can buy Justice Quests - basically kill 30/40/50 mobs etc for a set amount of xp and spirit.

At your level you could invest in an eso (or two) or some hyperstones and get a party together to do some zenning - ie go to an area with good mob spawns, round em up kill them rinse and repeat till your eso or hyper runs out.

Once you get to 71 you can of course start getting into Rebirth Gamma runs which give a shedload of EXP, Spirit and coin (and those dumb chest of coins you can't afford to open but oh well..)


So there were loads of ways to get EXP before BH but they all involve putting in a little time and effort

sadly once you get to level 40 all the grinding becomes a ghost town again so making alts doesnt help for long
they should make options for bh's to be grind x mobs too b:surrender then maybe people would be out of instances more

Ahhh those good times when CS was the only daily quest, and without grinding, u didnt lvl upb:sad I miss the times when, if u met some high lvl, it meant he/she had worked to get there and therefore knew how to use his/her charb:surrender. I'm sick of noobs power-lvling, i want old-fashion play againb:cry (shame on u Krouse for bringing back painful memoriesb:thanks)

VERY painful memories b:cry, the times that when you died at 99%, meant that you had to grind another hour to get it back, or you are lucky to get into a FB squad :P

The times that i was scared at a 9x wizard wtih my 83 barb, because good gear wasn't that easy to aquire. The times of AOE zhenning at nightscream, or burningheart. I was glad i got two molds on my barb back in the days, running 15 FB69 wined runs to get my tauran cape mold, and farmed all the wines, not buying them lol.

I remember flying over to the untamed fb19 and announcing you had a squad running call to duties. The whole squad was 5x and 6x. You get responses where ppl said could you please help me? And amazingly enough they were actually new players not someones alt. And they asked...politely.... and didnt just whisper and say kill the boss for me ok.

15k-20k per run I dont remember. That was a big source of exp back then. Only thing I had in those levels were CS and fb runs aside from grinding.

And ofc grinding parties were fun too. Even not zhenning or using eso's, just a nice rainbow squad for all the buffs plowing through foxwings. every 30 mins regroup rebuff and go back at it.

sigh... miss that...

back when you never saw a frost weapon, or a lunar weapon, and the highest levels were walking around in TT90 green armor that they farmed themselves.

back to OP. I just spent a couple weeks leveling an alt from 40 to 60 on only BH and tideborn quests. aside from farming mats to get level 6 crafting skills the old fashion way and run fbs btwn 59 and 79 on my main all after i get home from work. More faster ways to get exp? what more can you want? quests, Tideborn quests that even gave me a few levels in the high 7x, CS, FBs, BH (I did a BH69 yesterday had all 3 bosses goin in thats 500k exp in a single runb:shocked), Frost (just got 20% at level 81 in 1 frost run and turning in quests and I cant even get the quests inside frost yet), Hyper exp which i believe stack with eso's. Seriously when you see level 100+ tideborn within the first month of a new expansion there is no need for more ways to get exp.
