good work posting whats been posted in a million other threads... and "use arcane it give much HP"... you do know that robe give the LEAST amount of hp out of all 3 armor types right.

everyone speaks of light armor on the forums as though its the worst possible thing you can do as a veno... most only say it cause its what other ppl told them and they think a number means everything... at lvl88 as light armor i took out a lvl 97 wizzard in cube, we had comparable shards and refines but she had higher lvl armor and had her demon skills already so... before any1 comes on here saying LA sucks for veno im pre-empting them.

Maybe because soloing TT with a herc is freaking easymode and every veno can do it. Even if you're full heavy with minimum magic and a lvl 70 weapon can start tank 3-1 at lvl 80, just need some channeling gear.

I could tank bosses in 3-2 already at lvl 8X <.< Obviously not emp b:surrender.

Not because im a good veno or have a good build, im rather terrible and still use wrong skills at lvl 100 because my hotkeys is a disgusting mess. But pve is very easy if you're veno. Doesnt matter what build you have, LA, arcane or heavy, you can tank pretty much every boss in TT if the hercs Hp is high enough to not get 1 shoot.

So saying LA is good because you can solo TT isn't really a valid argument. You can solo TT in npc gear.

For pvp LA is not as bad as some people claim tho, you can still get ok mag def since you have 300 base magic, you refine rings for def and use mag def adorn. However both arcane and heavy have far better defenses. And the extra crit you gain with LA isn't as amazing anymore since everyone can get like 10% extra crit from event gear <.<

Just because you took a failure of a wizard out, doesn't mean LA is a good choice. The problem with LA is that it specializes in nothing. It tries to be a jack of all trades, but that isn't good enough for either defense. In comparison to HA with magres ornaments or Arcane with pdef ornaments, it clearly doesn't cut it. LA still takes a relative lot of damage from both types (mag/phys) and doesn't make you particularly hard to kill for any class (whereas HA would pretty much make you a beast vs Archer/Sins and AA would ward off Wizzes/Psys easily)

The HP is only lost if you were a VIT Veno to begin with. Helmets will easily substitute for 50 VIT an Arcane adds and Serious players refine their HA to counter HP further loss. I'm fairly certain that a HA with light upgrades could have more HP than an arcane with a lot of VIT.

i see venos with havey they lose all their poit by put all on str.
Some ppl think ligth/havy is best. but thas wrong venos don't need dex and str..they need Vit and MAG!

From a PvE aspect in regards to farming TT and tanking bosses, lv9-10 Pet Heal, 200-250 base Mag and any up-to-date TT80-90 weapon+2/Immac will sustain your Pet. HA players rely on Pets for damage output and use spells for support damage/status inflictions.

Never put dex on veno..since you don't get higer def by put dex..it only use ur poits on useless sh11iit..same with str
Str for hold gear..it don't make you stonger!

It does actually. And tbh, having a lot of crit is great. That doesn't justify adding DEX for Arcane users, but now that I obtained 11% Crit I'm seeing a vast improvement in my DPS.

i didnt say LA was better, just saying its on option and you are all trying to say its useless. some people enjoy playing their "useless" characters. it all depends on that specific players style. you all need to stop being so egotistical in your thinking that your way is the only way. and untill you can prove me wrong in that assumption ill continue to assume it.

I think its really funny how all the treads on the veno subforum is about cute baby pets and how to afford a herc. Literary nothing about pvp what so ever. If you post a question about venos and pvp on the class forum no one will answer they be all like:

"Dont know about pvp builds but i choose bunny ears cuz they're cute"

But here on pvp ponderings its always like 3-4 active treads about venos and pvp or QQ about how to counter a nix b:chuckle

Yeah i am not so glad there is only a few threads about venos in pvp. I'd really like to see more of them interested in pking instead of cute pets.

And since i am still learning the way of the big fat heavy veno who rules, plz let me read some more strategies and skill usage other than purge > amp > stun > bleed b:thanks

fixed for ya.

People can wear whatever they want, because winning doesn't come down to armor type, it comes down to refines/skill/lag factor/etc. If you take AA, LA, and HA to very high lvls and refines, the differences between them start to blur, because other equipment (rings/neckies/belts) make up for the differences between them.
