Requiem Blade vs Wraith Conquerer

One of these days I'll be hitting 89 and 90, and I'm wondering if there's any great reason to go with Wraith Conquerer. I would like to have it more, of course, but, compared to Requiem Blade, it's a lot of effort for little gain.

Right now I'm using Glaives of Divinity and haven't used an HH weapon since Ancient Arbor which is long gone. So if I wanted to make WC I would have to get the mats for it and make another investment in a weapon that comes before it.

Will Requiem Blade be fine? I know it doesn't have -chan and the stats are slightly less, but it seems bearable.

Requiem Blade is a good weapon, and the stat differences between in and the Wraith Conquerer are very little, however you need the souledge from Wraith Conquerer to make TT99 Magic Swords. If you plan to hit level 99 then skip past Requiem Blade and go for a Wraith Conquerer, if not just get the Requiem Blade.

Nothing wrong with Requiem Blade. Yeh its slightly weaker that Wraith CQ but for the money you pay its a good weapon.

Alright! I don't know if I'll ever make it to 99, but it's definitely not a big priority. I guess I'll go with Requiem Blade and be done with it.

If you want cheap, go Requieum. If you want the best, get neither. Get the wheel. The wheel is also cheaper/easier to get than a wraith conq.

The main point of comparison with the wheel and wraith conq should be hp and mattack. They both have -3% channeling. If you restat the amount of VIT you would have gotten from a wraith conq, you still have more mattack with the wheel. => Wheel is better

Having just turned 90, I was still collecting mats for the weapon I wanted: Wheel of Fate Denial (had to make souledge first, from Wheel of Life, still gathering mats for it).

My TT80 is an Acalantha gold (bound) and I was going to use it until I got the weapon I wanted but, the other night, I was checking the catshops and found a Requiem +3 (lev 90) for 1.5 millions so I decided to buy it and use it 'til I get my Wheel.

I don't know if the catshop vendor forgot a zero in their price because I have seen a Requiem in AH (same weapon) selling for 15 mils, and then other catshops selling it for as low as 850K. In any case, it's working fine for now.

EDIT: of course, I'm talking about my main, a lev 90 cleric :)

The good thing about the wraith conquerer is the -3 chneeling and vit if you want requiem blade you will med to invest some dex into it.I was looking at a cheap one.

you don't need dex as a cleric and a tomb can get you the "extra" needed to 1% (not a big deal)

ok one more time -> Clerics DO NOT need dex. it takes away from your attack/heals. You can add if you like but with the req blade (~+11 dex) you can get a +9 dex tomb and you will get 1% crit. You start with 1% by default.

my cleric has 9% crit with base dex. you can find other ways to get crit but using attirbutes for it = fail imo

I don't want to use that tome as I use another one so I wouldn't and most after 80 use the christmas tome.

5 dex from default + (10-11 dex) from requiem blade+ (lvl78 or lvl88 magic rings with +3dex each)=20-21 dex total.

    no need for a tome

Edit: Those 78 or 88 rings have a good chance of having +2% crit on each

like i said in another thread because of the lower starting magic dmg of the wheel, its higher bonus pretty much balances out with wraith conquerer in terms of chances of dmg. The max dmg range does not always mean it will give that number. Need to look at the whole picture including the lowest numbers too.

I say honestly neither, if you want the chanting, then go with the wraiths conquerer, but im going with the wheel of fate denied, I lost some stuff acouple months back (everything that wasnt bound and no not in pvp) so I'm working on regaining stuff, but the requiem blade is nice to use, but honestly, if you get it as a mold drop (not buying it) then use it, but if your gonna buy the mold, I say don't waste your time, and just go with the wraiths conquerer but, if you want better mag attack+chanting, then go for the wheel of fate denied, which is what I am going to get.

yes requiem blade is fine for the lower 90 lvl's however start getting the HH mats because you will want the tt99 or tt100 weapon there much better and you may need to break down wraith conquerer to get the one you want anyway fo a little work now will save you from alot of work in the future.
