Are the Human Classes Vanishing?

Hmm just an opinion


I don't know whether it is due to my play time or not, but I seem to notice alot less human characters.

For example in BH squads I rarely see humans anymore.


Just a thought, what are your opinions?

    May depend on your server... Used to be I saw BM's everywhere, but very few wizzies...
    Here lately I'm seeing wizzies coming out of the woodwork, and BM's seem to be a bit more rare. <shrug>

    Wizards yes...BM's are still pretty prevalent...

    I see some BMs usually, but Wizards are very rare for some reason.

    And well the expansion added 2 new classes that are a bit similar to humans. Melee physical DD (although BM is actually a good tank too) and Ranged magical caster.

    As far as BMs are concerned, they're like rats. No offence intended. But I see them every other day, they're most certainly not rare at all.

    Wizards... wizards I could be seeing more of. I'm seeing a lot of psychics, so people are probably thinking psychic > wizard right now, meaning the wizzie population goes down and the psychic population shoots up.

    Personally, I prefer wizards, but then again I'm a little oldschool when it comes to the classes.

    Q.Q when will they fix those TB face color glitch (or they forcing people to change vga) and giving more option to edit.
    (can't edit eyebrows color, lips color, eyebrow type, and some more that make you understand how a barbarian feel)

    Wizard > Psychic. All I have to say is Blade Tempest, and BIDS.


    Human class is the best class in the game IMO, they arent the strongest but skill animations own ALL.

    There are still quite a few BMs around, even though a lot rerolled Sin b:avoid. I do see a lot of Wiz on HL though, more than on DW. I guess people play Wiz for end game on PvP server.

    I wouldn't say that Elf have some great skill animations as well and not to leave the untamed out.Aegis Spirit,Tempest and Barrage just to name a few.

    As of late, the most frequent classes I see are the Wizards and Blademasters. Followed VERY closely by Venos and the new Tideborn classes.

    The 3 that seem to be diminishing to me are the barbs, clerics, and archers o.o; but then again, I'm going by people I see around me and those I see are needed in world chat.

    There have never been very many wizards.

    Psychics are like wizards that don't die twice a level in the early levels. I can see why they are popular.

    And assassins are fist-BM flavour of the month. Though yeah, I'm seeing more and more BMs recently too. I think people started making them when there were those weeks of world-chats begging for them to come to frost.

    Yesteday was at BH59 in squad with lvl.8X Wizard.

    Recent FB51 (helped to do) was with lvl. 9X BM in our squad.

    I not see any problem with this.

    I see enough humans walking around. Though there are more untamed and tideborn and elfs I guess.

    in comparison with the other classes wizards are very rare (atleast it seems so to me)

    I see more than enough BMs running around; wizzies a lot less. Wish there were more. I love their DD.

    Well, there are a little less humans as far as I can tell. Most of the light armor bms are doing everyone a favor and rolling a sin.

    You people are crazy. With the introduction of Hyper XP and Anni packs, there are more wizards than ever, and they're all heavy cash shoppers.

    Why?

    Because wizards at endgame murder things. So if you're going to do nothing but Oracle and FC grind to 100, what better class is there?

    It annoys me to death to see a random wizard who cash shopped their way to 100 and has no idea how to play their class; unfortunately, this is becoming the norm.

    And yes, that is jealousy. I had to level the hard way. :(

    Many people havnt got the money to fund mages or still believe they suck.

    When i was low i had so many people telling me to reroll as wizzies suck etc. Now they just QQ when they get one shot. Most wizzies give up prior to level 90 due to the quishiness at low levels but now with MQ, Oracles, BH etc they are becoming alot more common passed 60.

    Rank 8 wizards are only good, fully event gear'd wizards I can take down without much hassale but rank 8+ 12 is something else.

    You forgot one small part. They're usually dead. No offense meant to you good BMs out there, but 9 times out of 10, if I'm seeing a BM out in the game itself, and not in town/ in my squad, they're usually dead, and half of those dead BMs are usually crying for a res. Why do sucky people seem to be drawn to BMs? I don't honestly know, but I gotta say, it makes me really appreciate the good ones I find.

    Not sure if I'm the first to say this since I only skimmed over the thread but... how about Archers? :P

    I'm seeing nearly NO Archers in squads with me anymore. Sure there are the few top-level mains who've invested so much time and CS money that they'd never switch... but the rest of them seem to have all switched over to Assassins. And I love the Assassin, but I love the Archer more.

    I've seen a few more wizzies these days than I used to, not a lot though. BMs and Venos are about the same. Barbs... may or may not be declining, I can't tell... if they are, it's not by much. Clerics, I swear there are more of them these days. Maybe it's because some of them just want easy MQ exp and half the people who marry now do it solely for MQ. >_<

    I think what's happening now is like.. backlash. Let me elaborate.

    Out come the tideborns, lots of tideborns. Psys better than wizzies? NO WE PROVE IT.

    In come huge population of wizzies.

    ASSASSINS CANT BEAT BMS. I SHOW YOU.

    In come huger population of bms.

    OMG I NEED CLERIC FOR MY BH, WHERE BE ALL THE CLERICS?

    Everyone makes a cleric alt, increase in cleric population.

    OMG WHERE BE ALL THE TANKERS?

    Everyone makes a barb, increase in barb population (this is yet to come, imo!)

    Frankly I think BH has a huge.. i forget the word.. IMPACT... on the numbers of players in each class.

    It's also affected by whether you want to hit endgame or just have a bit of fun.

    PVE PVP also affect (I.E. Archers are awsome 6x 7x, but not -as- overlordly endgame, whereas wizards are the ultimate oneshotters endgame!)


    And this was completely pointless wasn't it?...


    YES, I've seen lots of BMs/Wizards! They're not dying out.

    I should've just done that....
