I'm new to this game and I'm having a lot of fun with it but really, what is with the world chat on Heaven's Tear? Is it this bad on all servers? All it is is the same 5 idiots talking at each other like typical 14 year old anime fans (I know I used to be like them). I know I can switch to another chat mode so I don't have to see it but really what if I need a group or need to buy something?
The entire chat is comprised of:

"OMG raep!!! X3"
"Heyyyy shmexy :DDD"
"can i have ur babiesb :ob:laughb:laughb:laughb:laugh"

And it goes on like this

for 10 hours

and it makes me vomit blood.

    WC is like that on all servers.

    Best of all, provided it's nothing bannable, these people are allowed to talk like that because they paid for their teles.

    If you don't like it, the only solutions are to:
    1- Turn off WC
    2- Learn to ignore it.

    I honestly never understand complaints about WC spam. It's so freaking easy to ignore yet people still complain about how WC is full of trash [and admittedly at times it can be, but] and how they want these people banned from chatting in world chat if it's not something to do with buying, selling or some kind of squad announcement.

    I'm not saying to ban them, that would be too harsh. I'm just asking if it's like this for everyone.

    Both Heaven's Tear and Lost City are like that, and I'm sure the others are as well. Obnoxious people flock to all the servers. Just don't bother reading it if you don't want to deal with it like the rest of us do.

    You also have the option of blacklisting them so you cant see any text from those specific characters.

    Yeah, its that bad on all servers. Some people like it and others don't.

    My apologies, I did not mean to imply you personally were saying that.

    However, I remember a past thread on the forums that turned into a **** fight when a few QQers decided to demand that world chat should only be used for making announcements for squads or buying and selling something. Hell some people even complained about the people who tried to trade over world chat.

    Really, it is not that hard to ignore. So I get a little irked when complaints about WC come up because while it can get very full of spam, you can turn it off, or actually ignore it much like you can ignore idiots.
    Hell there's even a third option! Blacklist the spammers.

    So yes. I didn't mean to imply you personally were saying such things or complaining in such a manner, it's just something related to this topic. The short answer to your question, however, is yes. It's like that for everybody.

    i tend to find world chat to be a momument to imbecility. let me reiterate by saying, just ignore it like the rest of us. turn it off on another chat, black list, et cetera. though it would be nice to have like a world chat spam police...

    I have it on to check on possible runs, but if it gets too bad or if I suddenly get busy, it goes off. Or I just ignore it. Else, should I be on an alt not in my faction or something, I just see it as entertainment.

    And yeah, it's like that on every single server. Probably worse now, since teles are dead cheap ATM.

    just think about all the money their wasting and have a little laugh to yourself. They could be saying stupid stuff for free, but they choose to in WC.. why? its a popularity contest.

    I must say that on Raging Tide it is not really that bad. It probably also depends on the time you are playing. I am in Europe, so when I start playing the 14-year-olds from the Americas are still in bed or at school. I consider myself lucky. :)

    I think it's really annoying too, those people should be punished for ruining our innocent minds with their dirty talk! b:angry

    No but seriously, I am sick of hearing all that **** on world chat, but I can't block the noobs who talk there either, cause then when someone who isn't blocked for me raises a topic about the chat or asks me "hey, did you hear what he said?? It's so ..." , I wouldn't understand anything, and that would be almost as annoying as the chat itself. There should be a limit, seriously, on what you can say on worldchat. Or another chat version for the mentally ill people, and the world chat should be left for people who want to sell/buy something, find a squad or just chat without all the rubbish.

    Lost City is like that on occassion, but isn't actually that bad... though sometimes it's worse. WC on LC is mostly QQ and PvP drama. It does get a bit childish, but quotes like the OP aren't really that frequent.

    LC was way more mature than HL or RT when I was on those servers for any duration. Maybe it was just the times that I was on, but I think the older servers are just a bit more mature. Maybe I'm just ignorant. lol
