The better CHEAP build??

i know pure arcane is the best way to go, but im not sure ill be able to refine much more than + 3 or + 4 on my gear right away, so im wondering, whats the better cheap build? LA than restat or pure arcane 50 vit base and slowly take out the vit as i refine more, i want to be able to get to 90 with at least a little survivabilty be4 major refines, thanks.

    There is really no "cheap build" since you will end up spending about the normal amount on armor until level 90.

    At level 90 having only +3 on all your gear is rather "decent" and you will have plenty of survivability as long as you have about 3k phys def non buffed, and something like 3-4k HP.

    Its easier to reach that goal then you think. But just go arcane all the way. A lot funner.

    My gear is horrible (2.3k vit and 1k ph def unbuffed) and I have no problem grinding or running instances... just alot of trouble getting into gamma with so little hp but im working on it. Plus, all the money youll spend restating (especially if you take out vit "little by little") is some you could put on gears ^^

    AA pure in the endgame is the best way to go. ^^
    And dont think that a LA could be better in the endgame.

    Why do u go LA if u use AA? O_O

    In the endgame u could have the same some crit, sure, it's a little more expensive go AA, but I think that AA pure is the way to go for wizzies.
    BTW, lvl99 LA: where's the mag? and with 103 dex and 103 str, vs 54 str, where's the mag? and, do u know that 103 dex is only +5 crit? LOL. LA should be good for pvp wizzies until lvl 90. But before u hit 90, u wont need to spend a lot of coins in gears. Just have to buy a mold armor around lvl 70-80, and u're ok with that. Or, if u're lucky, and u're in a good guild that helps in getting tt armors, tt 70 and then some pieces of tt80, should be good.
    So, dont need to open another thread about AA vs LA. Depends on style to play, and what u wanna do playing.

    Isn't 'taking out the vit' restatting? Seems to me you are describing restatting either way.

    So, play to have fun and in a way that suits your style.

    Playing on PvE server - stay arcane and shop for nice 3* - there are so many now because of millions of BH runs. Get a nice weapon (either good stats or at least +4 refines) and you're going to enjoy your wizard.
    Playing on PvP server - go LA to have some survival. Don't use crit rings at low lvl (adding an insignificant value to something already insignificant doesn't really help), try to look for rings with at least 2 magic attk option (or magic attk + magic). Around lvl 80 (78 and 88) you can get some nice 3* rings (at one point I was getting 250 HP and 3% crit only from my 88 rings).

    At 95 restat to AA, get the event boots, hat, cape (pdef) and rings. Weapon is not a must since a WoDF will do a good job (or a well refined Wraith Conquerer) and at 99 get the crit sword and you're set. These are expensive, yes, but if you want to do something endgame, u need them all at +5 minimum. Otherwise you're just going to be a oneshot to every archer/wizard/BM/Sin/ passing by.

    At lvl 60, remember to get the emerald meteor from the treasure hunt quests. I'm still using it, and I'll probably keep using it till I get 2 better rings (first my other ring, and only after that my meteor :P)

    Like already said LA robs you not just magic but also Vit (if you want to skill it).
    I know a LA Wiz on m Lvl and she doesn't even hit half of my damage, doesn't have more HP and her crit is also the same as mine. Now I have to add her wepon is refined to +8 to even make a lil bit of damage, and still she can't catch up with mine. For sure she get's less damage form meele mobs, but for what? Normal PvE the mobs are dead bevore they hit me and the p. AOE I have my Earth Shild to survive. Not to mention her repair is much higher because she takes longer to kill mobs and get hitten more often then I would ever be.
    I think there is no point in LA for wizards if you don't wanna lvl RB only. Just spend some more points on Vit if you think you need it. I didn't and I'm fine.

    Note: I'm not doing any RB and my Gear is also "only" refined by +2/3 just wepon is +5. I'm a attak wiz not defence
