    One major complaint.

    The "Servers are live" box seems to be broken for me. I get a brown thing in it that looks like the top left corner of a button that says "News" rather than, presumably, something saying whether the servers are up or not.

    New launcher doesn't work right for me, in that where there used to be an ad for new things happening with a bar at the bottom you could click to go to the appropriate webpage for more info, now I just have a pic that is too big so I can't read what is going on but also no way to scroll down. And no server list or anything else but the changing pictures.

    Not impressed.

    What I see, I actually like...they needed to update the launcher, because the colors on the old one didn't at all match the theme of the game now that the expansion was released.

    I would imagine just try clicking the verify button. That fixes a lot of problems.

    I absolutely hate both the new website AND the new launcher. I think it's too big, too plain, and oddly enough--too blue. D: No offense PWI, I love you. You're the only online game I've EVER been able to stick with in my LIFE.

    But I hate the plain look of the new site and launcher. I miss the little intricacies of the old ones. And I can understand the desire to update everything what with the new Tideborn Expansion, but I feel like it's being overdone. Frankly, the whole thing is being modernized to the point that it doesn't seem to suit PWI itself anymore. :<

    I think PWI is trying to set the whole Raging tide theme everywhere. The Age of Spirits expansion is long over, I suppose. The forums changed themselves to better situate with the Raging tide theme.

    Yeah, we've quit PWI and been slipped a copy of Clichequest between maint. updates. Yay, PW, you have fish people. WE GET IT. Good for you, do you want a cookie? ...I'm starting to think a plane-ticket to Bejing to personally knock some sense into the almighty and myserious "Devs" would be worth it. *(then I remember it's still a Communist state with a pretty harsh justice system)

    Honestly though, I do think it's fugly as sin (no pun intended) but I don't mind that much since it's quicker to just start the client .exe directly - so I only have to see the launcher one time a week for updates.

    liked the old EVERYTHING much much better. old forum, old main site, old launcher. all this new stuff is fail. looks low class, poorly put together, and this emphasis on the tideborn is lol'able. nobody cares about the tideborn. they were cool for like a month, and everybody was excited about them. now, nobody cares.

    Agreed, this all overplay's TB too much. I'm tired of seeing sins, they look funny. I want to see an archer or a barb or a wiz or just something else. and personally, I miss the old launcher since I could just press enter to start the game. now if I press enter it automatically pushes update b:angry.

    There should have been a pop-up window much like the patcher updates that came up for you to click. If that's not working for whatever reason, sounds like it's time to bring it up in the tech-problems forum.

    But overall, I agree completely with Kephras, Vinat, and Mrvate COMPLETLEY. I mean REALLY. D: I don't talk on WC, but one of the BIGGEST signs that integrating the TB into this game was EPIC FAIL is RIGHT THERE for anyone who pays attention.

    When people do their FF runs, FBs, ANYTHING... do you EVER see people asking for an Assassin or Psychic to join their squad? DO YOU? Maybe I saw someone bringing either up twice--LITERALLY ONLY TWO TIMES--and then, what? Nothing. No one NEEDS them. They're there for show and nothing more. And hey, I don't mind the expansion itself, but it seems ridiculous to keep going down this path when I see that no one's taking the entire thing seriously except for a few honest people that want to break in a new class, or newbs that think "OMG DIS IS SO KEWL, I'Z GUNNA B A MERMAID!"

    I say stick with what works. :< You tried, it's not the best. Go back to what we like.

    How do you know that what you like is necessarily what everyone else likes? I enjoyed playing as a barb, but I enjoy playing my sin even more. The only reason you don't see Assassins and Psychics asked for is people have had bad experiences with those characters that oracled to high levels. When people find out that there are MANY decent Tideborn characters on their servers (just ask around, lots of people know good ones), they will be more willing to add them to their squad. Tell a barb/bm that you are going to take away the assassin, and they will rant about bloodpaint, saying that it's a great skill. To be honest, I would have liked to have bloodpaint when I was playing my barb. Assassins and Psychics can play an integral part in the game, but only if the established characters allow them to.

    On top of that, there are rumors that squads will be increased to 10 in some instances. This will inevitably open up spots for Assassins and Psychics to get into places that they would normally not have been able to because of squad prejudice.

    I leave you with this...don't judge the feelings of an entire online community based upon your own opinion. Please.

    Fair enough and point taken.

    In truth, I am just tired of seeing people Oracle to the top and using all the new Boutique items to level instead of putting in the hard work. There are good players out there, and it doesn't matter what class they are for that to be true, so TB are definitely going to break through the cracks and prove themselves at some point. I just have an issue with the majority of things that seem to be running rampant about them now. At some point, things will cool down and then we'll see what the TB are really about.

    BUT.

    This thread is about the layouts of the new site and launcher screen. Which I still think are ugly and plain. x_x Ta-dah~ Point made?

    ..and on that note... would it be so difficult to put a button on the launcher that might take you to a page that displays the lvl rankings for each server?
