Update error/Corrupt files

I can't update my client. It always stops at element.exe and keeps tying to download that but it fails. I have tried to verify and says corrupt files or so.

I don't wanna try to reinstall cuz that takes a while and it probably wont work.

Is there any other way to make this work? Reinstall would have to be last resort.

    woops.. i have tried manual patching and thats the one that says corrupt files.

    verifying just says cant update.

    i got the same prob.. i mean i cant update tho..

    it says its the newest version (196).. when i try to launch it with client 192-196...

    "Update server connection failed"
    Please try other update server... it says

    OP the Tech Support staff should be in soon. They probably know this problem and can help better.

    Have you tried a verify from the launcher? Got exceptions for elementclient.exe and patcher.exe through your Firewall, Antivirus, Peerguardian etc?

    k... so this has happened before and i always forget what i did to fix it. but now i just remembered. restart computer. i dont know why it works like that but hey... im online =D
