new server--what class?

hi. i just have some questions for u guys ..
i started in Ranging Tide . and im lvl 57 there ... i like the game but i see this new server is coming up.. should i started or not? is gona be any good?

and if i start can u guys give me some advice? i didnt put real money in RT but i probably will in this new server meybe like 20 -40$ should i buy something from the start that is gona me more expansive later ??

and btw what should i do?? an assasin a blademaster or an barbarian ??

i played archer they good but i wana start a male class.

asssasin i like them but they light armor .
BM they cool . but any good in TW and PVE?
Barbarian too much armor cost and repair .


bertweeb this 3 classes what should i choosE?

    BMs are great for PvE due to the fact that they have lots of AoEs. They can AoE stun, and then beat the heck outta everything in the vicinity, generally with minimal damage to themselves. TW is another story, because it's more about how well your faction can do at keeping it's squads together while fighting other groups of people. Also, equips play a BIG part in TW success.

    BM is a critical TW class as they have stun locks which torment the other side. I have played all 8 classes to at least lvl 23 and so far the easiest class to play solo is BM (particularly fist BM) and there is so much versatility to the class.

    That said:
    Veno is the truly easiest class to make good coin with.
    My personal favorite class to actually play is Archer because of the need to actually use strategy with them.

    Erm...they weren't actually talking about the server itself...they were looking for help in picking a class...?

    I agree, but maybe instead of the Rainbowvidel person running through the forums posting a form message, they should read the OP's message at least...

    Any class except Venomancer can be male. (Only barbs must be male.) Or did you mean melee class?

    Not sure, but judging from the grammatical errors, I would assume that English isn't their first language (not a problem, by the way...I support foreign language studies). Going on that and the choices given, I would assume that they thought that male was said melee.

    Give it up.

    I know you're planning on joining the new server so you can have one of the higher level characters in the community and join a big TW faction. I'm not gonna criticize that. After all we play games for fun, and if that's your goal and you're dedicated enough to take the opportunity and go for it, then fine.

    but...
    Raging Tide already has plenty of 9x and more than a few 10x I believe. And plenty of players who have invested $1000+. The new server wont be any exception. Lv57 and $20-40 isn't going to get you anywhere, apart from bored and frustrated in a few months.

    If you do decide to go through with this, realize that if you don't play almost constantly, you will be quickly left in the dust and then have a hard time finding people to quest with...Which, as Seph so kindly pointed out, will leave you bored and frustrated rather quickly.

    BM is a fun class and able to solo a little better than most. (ok, ok, not veno, we all know this) Repair cost is minimal and grinding coin, again, better than most.

    ^ Sadly, there is a lot of truth to that. But, if just to make things a little more enjoyable, $20-$40 could get you a better flying ride and a couple pieces of fashion... makes getting around easier and you don't need to spend all day staring at the same armour...

    But, like Seph says, $20-$40 is by NO means gonna get you ahed in terms of lvl etc compared to others who are prepared to invest 50x that.

    Agree with the first part, kinda disagree with the second. You can have plenty of fun only spending enough to get a max'd aero sword/beast/etc... I would say that HyperXP stones will be a necessity, though anything else can largely be ignored.

    From lvl 30-70ish, the only thing I really spent in the game was to get a max fly mount and a land mount (just had to have a midnight).

    After 9x the game really starts becoming expensive if you want to be a factor... if you're gonna be in some sort of support role (cleric or sage veno for example) then you can largely get by without spending any RL money. If you pick archer, bm or mage, end-game is rather expensive. Even if you farm most of your gear, you'll need to buy tishas and such for refining, and most likely orbs for your weapon.

    The first will give you plenty of room to pick up drops, which you can turn into coins, and the second will get you around faster, which means less wasted time. If you have some gold left over, you might look into Safe Extension Stones (after doing the quests to expand your safe first) or 4 Mystical Tome Pages to make a tome (though the 3 Mystical Tome Fragments you'll need may be hard to find for a while on a new server.)

    if you dont have hundreds of dollars to spend. do not reroll to new server. plain and simple.

    lol its a PvE server so money isnt a major do or die issue. The only times it matter is

    A) For those few who decide to PK

    B) For those who are joining to "dominate" the TW map .

    ( Hate to break it to those people who think it will be easy and cheap, but with all the best will in the World.. The map will be dominated by the biggest CSer's. )

    um cant say his name but a certain lvl 100 cleric on harshlands is allready recruiting people for his new guild on the new server.....lol he said tonight though as in as soon as matience is over you have to be on to play
