I hate the so called pvp on my server
Can I be wrong but , in my opinion
Safety lock = pk easy mode.

I dont pvp, i dont pk, *(im a mage lol thats suicidal)
but the point is I wanted to know how real pvp players feel about the PvE server pkers who talk about pvp.

And generally you can just flame the hell outta them ^_^ to your hearts content here if you like XD
thanks for the time and please feed back :)

GAH Dont Cool story bro me b:cry

Im asking a legit question cus All I see are a bunch of Pk ppl sit at one spot all day and fight, then on weekends TW.
And tbh I cant see the appeal to them in such actions. So im kind wondering why do that day in and day out.

pk gives drop wich can be npc'd/traded for coins then buy gems and do crazy stone (throw in a wq from time to time).
with enough coins you can play the gold market and get enough money to buy equipment, charms whatever and continue the circleb:victory

Thats just it though the ppl on my server, never take that damn safety lock thing off, so they never drop a damn thing so i dont get why do it. I mean you guys cant go around with it on all day im guessing . I guess I just wish to understand how they can find it entertaining if they dont have any risk involved in it. Mind you btw Im on Dreamweaver a PvE server.

The truth is, if you don't cash shop you will have spend about 80% of time PvEing, even on PvP server... earning exp and money to be competitive in PvP.

That 20% is really fun part though, including hunting KOS guilds, crashing World Bosses, TW.

I never PK in hope for drops though, with bound items, guardian scrolls and SL it's very uncommon to see red player dropping.

PVP is fun, not the way to earn money ;]

Don't worry nobody takes off safety lock on PvP servers either. It pretty much ruined the fun of PvP, in my eyes at least.

I moved here from Dreamweaver, I had a 75 cleric on DW, and I rerolled a barb + nix veno on HL.

One big difference imo is early game HL-PvP, true, with the release of hypers/ani packs, a lot of players can reach end game in a month or so, but still, pre 80s, PvP is different from DW, because back on DW, you could rarely PvP prior to 80. Even if you did, eventually some lv90/100s comes and just face roll. To be fair, that happens here as well more and more often, but at least you get a chance to fight lower level peeps. Also from what I've found, DW-PvP is restricted to Orchid Temple, Hidden Orchid, and Secret Passage (btw you can't do that in HL, you'll get banhammered for PK'ing in SP), on HL i've fought just about everywhere, WQ spots, fighting while tanking Krimson at the sametime, yada yada.

Another thing to note is PvP is not as hard to compete as it is on DW. Of all the PK'ers i've run across in DW, *most* of them are "pvp-ready"... aka, everyone has TT80 gold or better, TT90s, recasted armor, charmed, blah blah blah. Basically, unless you're another cash shopper or spend hella time farming gear, you won't stand a chance, unless you're Divine_Death. A lot of PvP i've seen on DW are more like duels with charms... people say gg to each other after a fight, and just ignore each other for the remainder of the time until someone else shows up. I guess on HL, you're more likely to run into small wars, where theres like 4 different sides and everyone is against the other 3.

I just feel PvP on HL is more.. relaxed? A lot of people aren't charmed, not everyone have OP gear pre-80s, and not *everyone* is safety locked all the time. Sometimes people forget, I've dropped my fair share of inventory stuff while PK'ing, the best thing I've lost is a 6% channeling belt, other times i've dropped animal fur and grease while AFK at a WQ spot with 12 hours xD.

If you're looking for PvP, i think Harshland will offer a more reasonable experience than DW.

this is the answer you lookin for, people that pvp on pve servers are way to funny, every situation is gank mode, people on this server think ganks are bad, shiit got to a pve server and try pvp, ganks are so much worse, and yea SL did kinda ruin pvp for drops, cause somebody dropping is rare, but ive gotten some nice stuff after carebears SL goes off, and they aint realize

Usually the ppl QQing about SL runing drops in PvP are the nubs that go out of safe and drop stuff. =_=

PvP in daily basis = you get drops. If you were active PKers you'd knwo most ppl in thsi server uses dolls or full bound which you still get PK pots from.

Stop freaking QQing about something as meaningless as SL in PvP. Only carebears mention drops as main incentive for PvP, while most ppl that plays MMOs for PvP think of it as a healthy fun competition.
