New Website Slooooow.....

Please forgive me if there are other threads on this subject, I looked & didn't see any.

Anyway, new website has drastically slowed my Browser down. Yeah yeah, I know what most of you will say, but it's not my Internet connection at all. I'm running a T1 connection, and yes I cleared the cookies & everything possible & known to man to help the problem. But it is still extremely sloooooooow.

Normally with the old site, I can click on forums & what not & it would load instantly. With the new site I can literally count to 10 before it even starts loading. I have gone to other forums & sites & they load instantly. It's only here on these forums that it loads very very slow.

Anyway, not trying to QQ bout it, just basically wanting to know if it is happening to anyone else.b:surrender

    I've noticed it as well. Although it doesn't really bother me since I don't look at many topics.

    Happening to me too, and my connection is wonderful.

    I don't know, maybe PWI just hates me. First it makes me lag something horrible in instances (and only instances) where before I never had lag ever in an instance. Now the website and forums are taking an awfully long time to load.

    I think I did see a thread about this earlier actually regarding forum lag, so this isn't the first. But either way, you aren't the only person.

    It is happening for everyone. You are not the first to complain about it. They do have a poll on the pain page btw asking all if you hate or love the new site design. I'd recommend all go and click the appropriate button. Personally it looks nice, but they've lost the Server Rankings now in the jumble and it is insanely slow. I can run Crysis and others at maxed out settings with no hesitation or budge from my system. PWI website...WAY too long to load pages and such! Sorry to those responsible for it, but this was a major fail.

    downloading a flash blocker for your browser really helps alot. until I got one I couldnt even keep the website open when playing after the change

    Forums have been loading very slowly for me. Other websites not related to PWI load nearly instantly.

    +1. Flash banner are extremally hard and slow down PC. If u use Firefox try 'Flashblock' extension.

    PS: But this forum slow, yes. Hope tech team will upgrade this server.

    It is ridiculously slow for me since the change. Even logging in, which used to be instant, takes ages. I don't understand why they feel the need to change something that was great in the first place and end up making it almost unusable.

    The forum software hasn't changed. The layout isn't at fault, there must have been server or server-side connection issues.

    I did get a database error message, so the forums may have just needed maintenance.

    All appears to be working fine now though.
    I post in forums. This one and others. That's why I post.

    Forums are loading at normal speeds now and I'm no longer having issues forum wise.
