Moving server

So ive been thinking about moving server as HT is getting really boring really fast. Whats it like on Dreamweaver? Helpful people? Nice gold price? Nice people? Nice factions?

    If you don't like TW drama or think you won't this is not the place for you. Gold price is dropping, it's about 270k minimum to 290k(?) max from the time I'm posting.
    Umm... I guess "helpful" depends on your faction.... Nice people + factions yes but like I said, TW drama is everywhere.

    Umm... I guess "helpful" depends on your faction.... Nice people + factions yes but like I said, TW drama is everywhere.

    Gold prices are like 330 - 350k on HT currently. The people are so selfish and all i have to do is WC once and i get flamed to hell. TW drama doesnt really bother me since im not really able to TW since its 4am normally for me but i have been to 1 TW. Dreamweaver is east or west coast server, forgot to ask in my original post.

    Dreamweaver is an EAST cost server, meaning -5 GMT. I'm going to say that TW is 1am if you play Dreamweaver. This week though we had 2am TWs so our European players got to TW too b:victory. Anyways, ask any further questions if you want (excluding the economy because prices are dropping dramatically fast).

    It's east, and what _vincent said is all too true, which I m sure is the case for many other servers.

    Though the times I do world chat, I don't think I have ever gotten flame, then again it does kind of depend on what you say of course. If you say something negative, expect negative comments, which imho should be expected in every game/place you go.

    Also as I am sure you are probably aware, don't really expect to always get a full squad for something the first time you wc. ;) That is actually pretty rare nowadays. :( Though it does, and can happen.

    Yeah i understand all of that, i wc'd to see if HT knew what the word was (being the bird) and got a death threat so yeah HT seem to have some seriously messed up people.

    And aye barbs are probably arguably the hardest class to find, that and clerics, but aren't they sometimes difficult to find on the other servers as well?

    As far the hardest dd to find... I would have to say it depends on the instance, a lot of people seem to ask for a decent bm to go gamma with them. Then it would have to be an archer/wizard. Though as for venos, there is a lot of those running around too, a lot of people have resorted to this to tank TT's for cash/the items they need, especially if they are a 'dd' class with there main. Far less expensive as far as I know tanking with a veno then a barb, and plausible to get the things they need in a decent time.

    Clerics = Decent amount.

    Barbs = Way too low in supply. (Meaning it's likely you will find one, but on certain days, it just won't work.

    DDs = High amounts of DDs - More Archers than Wizards though IMO.

    BMs = Alot but would still be of help.

    Mass PK happens from time to time. If you drop stuff, people usually return it if your not well known for pking white names, stealing drops, Cash Shopping like crazy (aka +12 gear at level 100), starting drama, etc etc. Getting ganked on the other hand is something that happens if too many factions show up and have no choice but to take out a certain target first.

    Im not a fan of over used classes because then im just the same as everyone else, so ive stayed away from the TB and venos completely. The only problem i would have as a barb is that i havent had alot of experience as one, ive had most experience as a cleric, wiz and BM so they would be my main choice of char but barb as a backup.

    The more high level BMs all have (restated?) to fists (and axes?).

    Wizards and Archers are much preferred because it's easier for the Cleric to heal an Archer or Wizard due to their range. Tideborns (I hear Psychics have an aggro glitch) are common but I haven't been in a squad with too many after I started doing BH69.

    As for BMs, I have no idea about how to start one. But in the end, most people restat to fists from what I can tell. From what I know, most people start with axes and then choose a 2nd path when the have the spirit.

    Agreed it's not fun being ignored due to the class that you are. ;/

    As for people preferring the old classes to tb, I would have to say that they do, for the most part, then again they have only been out for about a month now. So this could very well change, I am sure you will still be able to find squads it just may take longer.

    Although I have heard that assassins, and psychics have been shunned from squads due to there not being enough room. Which I can kind of see why, but I think every class is sometimes 'pushed' away due to there being plain and simple way too many dds, and not enough tanks/clerics.

    Hmm like i said its tough, I think if i move i might just stick with a wizard. I think i will sleep on it and make a decision tomorrow then i can get right into leveling if i move.

    If you need help on dreamweaver feel free to pm me, you can try me on any one of the 8 characters; however, I wont always be able to help, so if I say no I will not help, then please don't keep asking. Also do NOT bother me about regular quests I WILL NOT help, this invitation is only for the various bosses from lvl 19-51ish. Aka up to krismon. Also for select bh's however only ask me as a last resort, and I shouldn't need to say this, but if there is a wine cost, please do not expect me to come and pay it. ;)
