New player: any factions that take lowbies?

I'm a long time MMO player, new to PWI, trying to find a home server / faction. Are there any large-ish, social/casual guilds on RT that take lower level players?

Ignore Soujiro, hes a little weird outside of faction chat. b:chuckle

Only suggestion i have for you is to check the guild banter section at the bottom of the forum homepage. That should give you a good start on a faction.

    Good luck!

I think you'll come into a bit of an issue looking for both a large-ish faction and one that takes low levels, as it unfortunately tends to be that the larger a faction is, the higher its level requisites become. Part of this is just because a much lower proportion of lower leveled players stick with the game, part of it is to be useful in TW and group PvE.

As Helr suggested, the guild banter section might find a post, or you can check out the "Raging Tide Guild List" here:
    http://pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=548792

Also, a world chat might yield better results, since many people don't read the forums, although that would be expensive and could lead to a more noob-ish guild (I find that even with all the nonsense on the forums, people here tend to be more informed than those who play strictly in game, not to say there aren't many nice people there too).

Also, if you want to come to Mithra, we're small but active and would be happy to have you if you like. You could send me (Delton, on Raging Tide) a PM/mail, or go to our newly created forums: http://mithra.forummotion.com/

Hope you find somewhere you enjoy playing!

Thanks all - I figure I'll keep leveling and enjoying the game, keep my eye on the guild banter, and see where I find a fit. Since I am enjoying the Cleric and have a lot of experience as an MMO healer I should not have too much of a problem :)

    Thanks again!

PS: Delia: I checked out your link but could not find any posts describing your Faction. Is it a new site? Or, more likely, am I an idiot?

I just created it yesterday :). I'm the idiot for posting anything before I've had the time to post in the general section yet :/. I'll try to add some information in between school work soon :/.

The way I've found factions for my alts and even for myself at times is to play factionless for a while, and then pick a faction based on factions that you have friends in. Or keep an eye on WC for a faction that's recruiting a lot and seems nice.
