Hey I played this game for a couple of days. Got wizard to 10. Yesterday I was looking at my steam it said Final Fantasy xi for 8 $. Im a fan of some anime and also the final fantasy series so I bought it ofc, and this cheap?

After sleeping on it I just realized that it will be impossible to play both pwi and ffxi. They both take long. I like pwi so far. Nice look and fun and simple. Also you can buy some zen that is good, it is strictly forbidden to buy cureency in ffxi.

Have anyone tried both? Can you talk me out of it? I know ffxi is very hard to control on the pc. I will have to buy a game pad in order to play it well.

From the screenshot it looks just like a playstation game so pwi wins by far in that field.

And last is it better to play on lost city? Does it get boring later(lvl70+) on in pve server?

Im torn in two now. Ive got a buddies but they play wow, that game sure as hell isnt fun past lvl 60.

Just some notes to try and talk you out of FFXI...

I think FFXI has a monthly fee of like $13... and like you said it looks like a playstation game and you need a gamepad so why not just get one of the older playstation/PS2 games and play casually when your not playing PWI? (I'm still working on FFX-2 ^^ )

PWI is free to play, and you can buy zen for real world money (which becomes gold in game), but you can also make in game coin and buy gold without buying zen. (Sorry PWI people I had to say it b:shutup ). There's also the ability to buy things from other players and the auction house that you can also get from the cash shop.

I play on a PvE server and am level 50+ (so I can't speak for 70+) and I still have fun, and there's still more stuff at later levels that I haven't done yet that I'm looking forward to doing.

I hope that helps with your decision.

At 70+, it doesn't get quite boring. Unless of course you don't take the advantages, like TT, FBs, etc.
It's not my job to shut you down on a suggestion. It's a pleasure, though.

My husband is avid Final Fantasy player, as well as I have tryed to play FF8 or FF9, but I had a hard time playing the Final Fantasy game. As far as I and my husband know, Final Fantasy xi IS a playstation "3" game that can be played online (most Final Fantasy games are/were made for playstations, I think). My husband has tryed to play PWI, but has a hard time getting use to working with the whole computer thing. b:nosebleed
So witch game is the better, is all up to the player.
I'm only a lvl 30+ and I love PWI. I have played other games, and some can be VARY boring, but since I have been playing PWI they have constantly added more and more things to it ( one being the TideBorn race). PWI also has done their additions/updates better then other games have, ect: when they added the TideBorn race, they started from lvl 1 making it an even playing field for everyone. Other games that will be nameless have added races starting at lvl 90, witch really make it harder for everyone below lvl 90 hence forth became boring as well as disappointing. Even though I am not a lvl 70+, it doesn't look or sound like PWI is going to be boring anytime soon.
