I may be getting a PS3 soon, and since it is possible to run Linux on a P3, I wanted to know if PW could be installed too.

The slim can't do it, but the original ones should be able to.

    1. Yes PS3 can run Linux (but not the new ones, you need an old one)
    2. Yes you can run PWI on Linux (youtube is your friend http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t32GRBnc0T0)
    3. No you can't run PWI on PS3

Why? Because the program WINE does not work on the PS3 as it requires and x86 based CPU, the PS3 is amazing in power yes, but down deep inside its a PowerPC CPU, so WINE won't run on it, even if you compile it for PPC it won't run, it needs x86

Hope that answers it for you
