    No, it will be a west coast server, you want a east coast one

    Shame wiull there be much difference with it in terms of lag etc if i do use it

    I live in England and play on Lost City and the lag can be pretty crippling at times. However, this could be due to any number of reasons, not just the geographical location of the server.

    It shouldn't be much of an issue really. I've played just fine for about a year on a west coast server and I'm one timezone further away than you.wmgjhz%20(47).gif

    I get about 40-50 more ping on average comparing west with east.

    Anyway, Heavens Tear is on the west coast too. So if you're not having any problems there, you shouldn't have any in the new server.wmgjhz%20(3).gif

    Lower ping is better. I get around 150ms on east and about 300ms on west coast servers, playing from england.

    thats a huge difference im at 85-105 for east coast and 160-170 for west cost. and im from Denmark, 1 timezone further than england xD

    i get about 180 and about 80 but it still works fine on west heavens tear :s

    Come join Raging Tide or Harshlands (or Dreamweaver, but RT is the newer of the two PvE servers). They're both east coast and should get you better times.

    Raging Tide has only been out for a few months. After a while both RT and Archosaur will be at about the same level of development and levels, and I personally would prefer to be on a server with less lag.

    Aprox. 200 ping to Sanc from London.

    The lower pinged servers came out when I was way into my 80's :/

    East coast servers tend to get better pings from Europe. West coast hops go to the east coast then move westward. Archosaur will be from CA like HT and other west coasts.

    Having just checked my ping for all servers, it tends to average ~171ms for west coast servers and 93/94ms for east coast servers.
