2.00 max attk rate

I Just found out today that assns can only have a max attack speed of 2.0. I had RB on me and had 2.00 and when i used relentless courage it was still at 2.00. kind of disappointed.(unless it didnt let me stack skills) although i did have a thought of trying to get 2.00 attack rate with COD on which could be a challenge. (maybe with demon spark). But i could use some verification on if the 2.00 max attack speed is true.

    RB overrides speed modifying effects, sparks, and anything else within it's domain

    Yup, RB overrids all. I've seen sins with a lot higher than 2 attacks/sec so the cap isn't there.

    The cap is 5 APS, just like every other class. Relentless Courage, Demon Archer Quickshot proc, and Red Ball are all the same 'effect' on your character. They overwrite eachother so only one actually takes effect.

    Yeah, I know the cap is 5. I meant the cap of 2 is not there for Sin.

    Well, RB's effect comes in pulse so whatever you used to override RB will quickly be taken over again by it when RB's effect comes again. So essentially w/e you are using will not last long enough to be useful and RB dominates.

    thats why you just use ultis in RB :)

    also i can verify there is no 2.0 cap. when i pop relentless courage i get 2.22 (90 str genie b:cute)

    exactly,just waste ot spark. better if u use power dash or Subsea Strike in rb when u cant do nothing with chi (its just a personal opinion)

    BTW I have a question on attack speed cap.
    I managed to combine some equipment for my EA and I dunno if if it will be as I calculate (all equip is highly expensive and I don't wan't to lose money). Possible it's a wrong place, but **** also would be interested in full ASPD equip.

    ☆Deicide claw (or any other analogue weapon with base speed of 1.43 and -0.1 bonus)
    ☆Armor of the Demonhunter -0.1 (military rank 8 for a EA)
    ☆Ashura's Bracers -0.1
    ☆Ashura's Boots -0.05 (as 2 items Asura set with ☆Ashura's Bracers)
    Love: Up and Down book -0.05 (using the Scroll of Tome from i.e. Anniversary Pack)
    ☆Energetic Robe: Lunar Glade -0.05 (reward for Lunar event)
    ☆Lionheart Necklace + ☆Lionheart Belt -0.05 (as 2 items Lionheart set)

    Totally receive -0.5 interval between attacks.
    Base ASPD of weapon is 1.43 It's equal to 0.7 sec interval between attacks.
    Subtracting 0.5 and receive interval of 0.2, which equals to 5 attacks per second.
    Now adding 30% bonus of demon Quickshot or similar bonus ( i.e. relentless courage) :
    5*1.3=6.5 but 1/6.5=0.153846154
    and is round-up to 0.05 interval granularity,
    so final interval become 0.15, what is equal to 6.67 attacks per second.
    Are my calculations correct?
    I want to know this for sure, before buying these expensive equipments.

    Theorically It would work, but I dont think anyone is complete sure about it working or not...

    PS: Get Shadow Ashura Greaves, and the Atk rate will jump to 9.09 with Demon Spark =P

    There's a hard cap of 5 attacks per second on fists, due to animation limits.

    That's the worst part. Total equipment to test this require either or long years of playing or a huge summ of money.
    And same as buying a car, I wish to know it's speed limit.

    cap is 5.0 APS theres been like 100 threads on this already.

    yes bm, ea, and sin can reach 5.0 APS with the gear thats out.

    if you only want 5 APS with demon spark then just get enough gear to have .45
