Frequent PC Crashes

UPDATE!: After reinstalling the drivers via uninstall-restart-install, the rest of the days session went peachy. I may be jumping the gun here, but I'm hoping for the best. I'll re-update should anything change.
When I first downloaded this game, I was experiecing crashes to shutdown on a rare occassion. Since the last patch, this is happening to me very frequently. I've never had a problem like this with any other game, including mmorpgs. Everytime it happens I cringe because I know it can't be healthy for my computer. Every game I've played I've played on full settings without issues. But even at mid settings, PW crashes my computer randomly without warning. Latley, I can expect PW to crash my computer atleast twice per play session.
I've tried updating my drivers, graphics and sound. Directx is up to date. I've tried running in Windows 2000 mode. Tried cutting my graphical settings in half. Tried turning off SLI. Allowed PW through my Antivirus and firewall. Tried running PW with very other program shutdown, including my antivirus. Nothing works. It's driving me nuts.
Windows 7 Ultimate
Core 2 Duo x6800 (2.93ghz, 2.93ghz)
150gb @10k rpm
4gb
9800 GX2 (1gb)
Please help!!!!

Might be becuase PWI isn't really suited for Windows7 yet0 -
As I said in the update, installing the lastest GPU drivers the correct way has seemingly fixed the problem. Since then on one single occassion, the game froze up my computer and after a waiting a minute for it to recover, it resulted in me having to restart my computer. That's a far cry vs what was happening before. However, I wish it would never do that either. I hope it was just a fluke.0

how about ur power supply?
i had same problem (on other game) but it only happen during that game,
i could play other games normal..till my pc didnt die cuz of power supply..lol
u got pretty good pc,but if ur power supply is bad no point of having other stuff good.
and what KageYingZi said, could be windows 7 too,gm should reply on this.0 -
if the power supply will support the harware in the system it is not the cause. I hink it's a setting issue in Win7 itself.I'm a guy, not a woman, that is all
