Camera Control Using Gamepad

Didn't see anything in the search regarding this and I am clueless. How do enter commands in my gamepad's profiler for camera control? Using a duel analog type pad if that helps any.

to best control the camera with your joystick, youll have to use an application such as "joy to key" which can be used to emulate both keyboard and mouse movements. In effect, youll map the joystick x and y axis to emulate the mouse movement both horizonally and vertically. Then you can map the mouses right and left click controls to separate buttons on the controller. Doing so you get both mouse pointer movement and the ability to click on icons/mobs/etc.. and (in conjuction with holding the alt click button) the ability to control the camera. You map also either the mouse wheel or +/- for zoom controls. Fortunately with joy to key, you have ability to create different layouts and designate one or more buttons to be held down to temporarily activate a secondary or tertiary layout. (navigation layout vs combat layout etc..)
this game wasnt really designed to be played with a game pad, but if you're crafty enough and can get used to the setup, it can be done.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

b:byeHi and thanks for the response.
I have a program for profiling but I don't know what to enter in order to all mouse under the gamepad's control. b:puzzled If you or anyone else could post the commands that'd help a lot."For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." -John3:160 -

See my post here for various controllers and software.

If you are using a Logictech Dual Action, use the profiler software's help feature. It explains how to map things to the analog sticks and all the buttons.
You can map WASD to the left analog, map the mouse cursor to the right analog, and then map the right and left mouse buttons to the R2 and L2 shoulder buttons.Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

Ah thanks, I saw that in the tech area.b:pleased Very thorough, but doesn't address my problem.
The program I have doesn't really come with instructions. Found stuff on their site but they fail to give detailed mouse profiling. b:beatup b:cry Just meat and potato type instructions on how to map the keys.
Just to make sure;
I do have a controller
I do have a profiler (so no need for me to download anything)
I do not have a clue how profile the mouse properly.b:sad

Dear Baalbak
(and anyone else that might be able to help)
I need to take a picture and update this post perhaps so you can see my set up but I'll try to describe it. My profiler shows the key functions for my game pad with a command entry box for each key so for example I had to discover that in order to use the analog sticks for movement I needed to switch the function to bands(don't know what that means just know I can move my character with it and can't without it) and enter the ASWD in the corresponding directions . I also have the ability to set x and y axis and sensitivity. I can tell it to follow mouse but am doing everything wrong as I can't use it to control the camera. *insert dying smiley here*"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." -John3:160 -

b:cry Thank you, your awesome. I don't have Joy To Key but I can download it and hopefully use it with my controller. Don't know and hope it doesn't block out other profilers. (Grumbles about software conflicts yada yada.) Okay, send it on over and thank you so much.b:thanks"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." -John3:160

Haven't heard from grimmh8, so does anyone have a gamepad profile for PW they're willing to share with me?"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." -John3:160
