tideborn traitor (raw crystal)

ive killed him already a couple of times but i wont get this raw crystal...am i doing sth wrong?

do i must kill him solo?
any other tricks...?

    I killed him, and got the raw cristal.

    1: Like all tideborn quests, make sure your inv isnt full. Otherwise you wont get the item
    2: Make sure you kill the right Traitor ;)

    I believe you must kill him solo.
    That might be your problem.

    Lol no way kill him solo he is quite hard boss. Without tank and cleric you have no chance.

    As a matter of fact even I could solo him, if I had more damage (I hit him between 500-700).


    EDIT: After a few item adjustments(mainly buying two rings and the TT sword), I was able to solo him.

    It's not that you have to kill him solo, per se. It's just that you have to do the most damage overall to him to get the kill. It's like the way Oracles work.

    He actually doesn't hit that hard, so every class should be able to kill him with just a cleric healing them.

    Not true. I helped several of my friends with this by taking it down to just over 50000 HP (out of 100000), then tanking the hits while they finished it off. They all got credit for it on the first try, without attacking until it was down to about the 55k HP mark.

    Is there anymore to the quest after getting the raw crystal? I cant find anywhere else to go or anything to do..?

    After turning it in, there's a new quest available from Emerald Moon on White Sand Beach. There's a couple threads about it in this section as well.

    Lol@People saying it's impossible to solo.

    I soloed it for my quest, and I got it first time. So I'm not sure if you need to solo it or not.

    I soloed him and that snake boss (the one with 2m+HP,) no cleric buffs. Wasted a bunch of pots but I got the kills.

    When I killed him, you couldnt solo him even if you wanted to. There were like 10 people there all trying to get the kill, lol.

    I was able to solo this boss with my tt 60 sword and cosmo's gear.. took alot of IH and mana pots but managed to kill him. After turning in the quest i skipped too fast through what the elder said and now have no continuing quest in my log so i'm not sure where to go lol.

    i soloed him but it took my whole hp charm i got from a quest before

    ...and now i have to kill this fish solo toob:surrender

    Go to White Sands Beach and talk to Emerald Moon.

    tideborn traitor (?) death skull blabla lvl 150 mob blabla isnt strong, he dealt 150 dmg to my 5x sin, you HAVE to solo him, i tried to do the quest with my bm so i dont waste charm at my sin, therefore i know what i say.

    i just did the quest: Loyalty(single)
    formed a squad, and i was the leader... thats enough to get the items

    WHat happens when you team up with a lvl 80+ to do it? The elder of the tideborn city said if you do team up becsause you can't solo, to form the squad and talk to him again??" Does this mean now I can finally do it with a squad?

    its a 8 quest run w/ great rewards last quest cant be completed till lvl 51
    yes u have to do the most damage like the wicked pirate quest u get from lvl 35 supply chest and make sure u r killing the right traitor auto-path it if u r going to solo him just get a cleric to help u

    Yeah my wiz is a bad azz !!!! but ppl come with cords memerries,white sand beach?All that around the bush over the stream **** just blows so CORDS CORDS CORDS plz.

    It's quite difficult to take out the Tideborn Traitor as a Psychic it seems... *Sighs.*

    The only way to get the Crystal Raw is killing him by yourself but i know u cant do it by yourself so someone has to be healing you while u attacking hope this works b:pleased.
